Alright! So, I asked how do other people see you and why? I think the why here is speaking to you on a more personal level than their rationalizations.

Current Situation: 8 of Swords
Conflicting/Complimenting Factor: Hanged Man
Root Cause: Queen of Pentacles

How you feel about situation: 4 of Swords

How you feel about yourself: 9 of Swords
Environment: the Fool

Outcome: 9 of Cups (r) [clarifying card of Queen of Cups {r}]

So... from this spread, I think people see you as harmless. In fact, there's a LOT less of how they see you and a ton of how you see yourself.

The 8 of Swords tells me you've been here before, this sort of panic and low self-esteem, and I think it stems (rather systematically) from when you are at a stand still. When nothing is coming in or going out. I get the feeling you are, mentally, a very active person, and when you stall out both physically and emotionally (you don't have anything to preoccupy your thoughts) you turn your gaze inward, onto yourself. This is all because of the Queen of Pentacles. You're a very stable person, or at least, you want to be. The Queen of Pentacles for me is the providential earth mother. She is generous as a Thanksgiving harvest, as wise as an owl, and as deep and caring as an ocean, BUT she never flinches. She does this all without letting anyone see the strings behind her curtain. I think, perhaps maybe... when you get "bored," you go looking for your own strings to you can try and hide them better. Lots of introspection keeps coming through. Lots of soul-searching, but not in the way of the Hermit. It's (no offense) sort of nitpicky. Like you're hen pecking yourself to death

In the past, I think you were extremely secure, but now it's time to take a breather and rest (i.e., the root of your issues.) However, it's really important to note that the Present is the Lovers. You have 3 major cards in this spread -- this stall out is extremely important to your karmic growth. Right now, the Universe has put a stop on everything until you learn what it is you want and who you want to be... in regards to who you are ALREADY are. This isn't about a total reinvention, this is about a restructuring and realignment. Balance yourself. Find what it is that you're missing, the part of you that you are failing to see through the trees, so to speak.

The advice is the 2 of Pentacles reversed... things are never going to be one way or the other. The sky isn't just a single shade of blue. Neither is the world solely in black or white. Stop feeling the need to be seen one way or the other... stop trying to juggle perception with reality. Just be. Do. Exist. I don't think, based on the 9 of Cups reversed, that you're ever going to be this person you imagine yourself to be. I don't mean this in a crass way... I mean it more like... I, personally, have body image issues. Always have, always will. In my wildest dreams, I look like Kate Upton. In reality, I could starve myself and go under 500 knives, and I would NEVER look like Kate Upton. I feel like this is the same thing. You have an extremely hyper-inflated vision in your head of how you want to/should be... but you won't ever be that. And that's okay. In fact, it's rather good, because the clarifying card is the Queen of Cups reversed, which to me says, you'll never been that way, because you aren't a shallow, bitter, selfish person whose only out for themselves.

You are the Queen of Pentacles, and you are a beautiful person. Inside and out. I know that. These cards scream it to me. Now you just have to start screaming it to yourself.

So... how do people see you? Honestly, that's not what the cards wanted you to know. That's what this spread is about. How really cares? Most people are idiots. Just watch Street Talk with Jay Leno. What's important here is what YOU think of yourself, and the sooner you jump on the "I am really badass and have a lot to give" train, the sooner you're gonna start to see the world open up for you in ways you've never dreamed.
