Topic: 4 of rods question

Today a guy (in his mid fourties) was doing card reading for random people. He said he's been doing it along time.He shuffled the deck and asked if for the questioner to tell him when to stop. Then asked the questioner to pick a card. So when I did it I got 4 of rods. I didn't really have a question in mind. I had just got dropped off by my bf though and had positive lingering feelings from out time together during the reading. He predicted a celebration of some kind coming soon. Like a marriage or a ceremony of blending two families together. Does his reading style and prediction sound accurate? What do you take from 4 of rods? Have you ever had this in a fortune and how did it reveal itself to you? I'm curious, thanks  IP: Logged |

The problem with the one card draw, especially without a question, is that there are SO many things a card can mean. I mean, yes, celebrations, parties, and often marriages are shown by the 4 of Wands. But it's fairly vague without other cards lighting the way or pointing towards something. It would be like taking a sentence, for instance, "I love you," but when you go to say it to someone, you just say, "You." The interpretations are endless. That said, it is a happy card, so if he was just reading your energy, it was probably on target. IP: Logged |

That's what I thought about one card draws. Thanks for the help. Yes if it was just my energy I'd say its was on Target too Still wouldn't mind hearing what the card ment for other people. I know my last tarot reading (with a question) was a marriage card as well. I don't remember which though. My memory when it comes to tarot isn't too good. Hence why I rarely use it.
