I just pulled it for the "question-thread" and this card has been puzzling to me.For me, it was always the card of "walking away with regret, but walking away", the dissolution of emotional ties, leaving, in short: break up card, with the break up being a sad one. But like there was just not enough of the right stuff in the relationship to be able to maintain it. But I wonder, how does anyone else see this card?

Hey Ceri. Was this in regards to an relationship? Because if not, interestingly enough I have been getting this card for huge organisations/companies when they choose for the 'greater good' of something (mostly in relationship to a few individuals that felt they have been wronged.) But it shows me that the greater interest was just if more importance. Not because the initial connection wasn't satisfying enough. Edit: it does show me someone who has a different vision of his life & future & that does outweigh the previous connection in love relationships for example. The 'higher call' is always of most importance. Regret in that effect that the asker knows this means the sacrifice of one or another that was (or still is) pleasurable. IP: Logged |
