I have this book (you've probably heard of it) called Oracle of Love by LeeAnn Richards. She has a really cool soul mate spread in there I'd like to offer to someone (who I haven't read for recently!). and incorporate traditional Tarot meanings with that. It's best used for single people as it foretells the "who" and "what" of meeting your soul mate!

So, who's it going to be?

First we divide the deck up into three stacks. The first represents 0 - 2 months, the second 3-7 months and the third 9 months or more. After doing this, we check each pile in search of how the King, Queen, and 9 are placed.

The King, Queen, and 9 of Cups all turned up in the last pile! There's some work that needs done within your life, but the good news is those cards are all together. It's more encouraging this will happen at the right time, when it's supposed to. It will take probably a year, if not longer. But since the King and 9 fell in the same stack together it means it's your fate to fall deeply in love with a man who loves you equally. Because all 3 cards fell in the same stack, you'll feel happy and fulfilled as the romance develops.

The cards surrounding the 9 of Cups foretell the events proceeding up to you and your King falling in love. We drew specifically the 6 of Swords - 8 of Cups and 8 of Wands, very interesting! I think you will be in search of relief, or isolation when this guy comes out of nowhere and reaches your core with a quickness no one has done before. Come to think of it, I think the 8 of Wands is a sign you will KNOW this guy is it. You will probably not be in the best of moods when you first meet, but this won't deter him. It seems he'll wait for you forever if it takes that long (7 of Pentacles after the 9 of Cups.)

Specifically the 6 of Spades/Swords as a circumstance means anxiety. You might be waiting anxiously to hear news or some kind of important information.

This is the second marriage that turns out to be an enormous improvement over the first. The upright 8 represents the kind of union you always dreamed of creating with the right person."

Finally, the 8 of Wands/Diamonds. This card basically says your life will already be well-rounded when you meet this person, and his entrance in your life will simply make it better. It'll be sudden too, I can't shake that! Like just ... BLIP, there he is. You two will have your own separate lives away from the relationship, but still be able to share in a way that conjoins the two.

Based on this formation (the order of the last pile of the deck being Knight of Cups - Queen of Swords - King of Cups - 5 of Cups - Knight of Wands - Ace of Swords - 6 of Pentacles - Queen of Cups) To me that looks as if he will be in despair due to another relationship not having worked out, and then you two will meet. Something inside of him will wake up and he'll feel very excited by you, and certain, and I also get the feeling he loves talking to you. Kind of like love at first sight for him, but I think you will be a bit more mature or cautious with your feelings. He may have a teenage son who's moody and artistic, and a bit of a lady's man (the son!), the King is most likely divorced. You two will most likely have opposite ways of doing things, because his cards all look very gray and stony, while yours are colorful and bright. You will bring a lot to his life and teach him things about himself he wasn't aware of. He'll respect and admire you a lot because of how you make people feel, and what you do for them.

It's really easy, it's more the meanings of certain cards being together than a spread! All you do is shuffle, and divide your deck into three stacks. After that look for which stack the King, Queen, and 9 of Cups are in.

If the King and 9 are together, and in the first stack it means you and your soul mate are already in love or will fall in love in the next two months. If it's in the second stack, 3-7 months and the third stack means a considerable delay but at least the King and 9 are together.

If the King and 9 are in separate stacks, find the 9 first and then the King. If the 9 is in the first stack with the King in the second stack it means you already know your soul mate and love him but it will take 3-7 months for the King to fall in love with you back. If he's in the third stack it means someday he'll fall in love with you (but the third stack doesn't foretell when because it's so far in the future.)

When the 9 is alone in the second stack, it requires patience. If the 9 is in the second stack with the King in the first stack, he's already near you and in love with you but you haven't noticed him. If the King is in the third stack, you'll notice him in 3-7 months but then have to wait for him to notice you.

The 9 being found alone in the third stack means not to count on it. If the King is in the first stack, he's an old boyfriend who still calls, if he's in the second stack he'll enter your life in a few months and fall in love with you but you probably won't love him back.

Now, the Queen.

Timing

Count the cards in the arch after you notice where the 9 falls.

*If it's in the first stack at the beginning of the arch on the left, you're already in love and you know it. Halfway through it means you'll be together one month from now and at the end, 2 months (for the first stack!)

In the second stack at the beginning of the arch it means you'll fall in love in three months. In the middle, five months, and at the end, seven months.

Great news littlecloud! Your King and 9 of Cups were found in the first stack. This means you either already know your soul mate and are in love, or you will meet another soulmate within the next two months. However, the Queen appeared in the second stack so I'm thinking you might not be attracted to them right away, or if you are... something about the relationship will make you drag your feet.

Okay, so surrounding the King of Cups is Ace of Wands, 7 of Cups, Ace of Swords. This makes me think this guy is a baby about things for some reason, lol. I also had a hunch he has trouble following through on his word, but doesn't mean anything by it. He's very sweet but impulsive, has short bursts of energy and then gets distracted. He's very protective though, and his emotional strength would surprise you. Despite his shortcomings I also feel he's ethical. The cards following him were King of Swords, 3 of Wands, 4 of Swords, Queen of Swords - so a bit of a mentalist, observant, or he has really strict parents and needs someone to keep him in line. I think you two will have or have dreams about each other.
