I am not using reversals, but was interested to hear your thoughts about what this card could mean?(in this actual example there was no problem in the relationship, no infidelity, no love triangle) IP: Logged |

Hey Ceri  For me it does come up as relationship issues as you mention above though. I've also seen it as an actual divorce. Other thoughts would highly depend on the surrounding cards, but at the very least I'd say the couple doesn't have that much common ground/staying together because of (material) convenience/always been like that/easy road. And I've seen it for commitments based on just a sexual level. And the opposite: not much sex at all/stuck into a rut (rud?)
In general: no choice is being made/easier to leave things as they are.
Just some of my thought. Hope it helps
What are your thoughts on this card? Ps: Did one part of the couple actually wish to take it a step further (actual marriage) or were they married already?

I've seen this card come up indicating literal distance in a relationship, thus "temptation" from both parties.IP: Logged |

no, no, it was not about a relationship in this instance.
I was just wondering what was up with my friend, as it is uncharacteristic for her to not write every other day. lol
I was suprised though to get the lovers reversed, as I would have associated with a relationship before as well. the reason for it actually was healthrelated (as I had worried), as she is having heart fibrallations, and this time it was extraordinary strong and tiring. Also is battling with constant tiredness and as of now a low iron level.
Apart from that she is processing some internal psychological stuff, which is bubbling up, now with her losing weight (we are in the same boat so to speak there ).
She has a really loaded past, and also some financial worries.
However, with all that in the background, I surely would have expected a different card to come up.
I don`t see at all how the lovers relate to that kind of stuff (unless they are literally about the "heart" lol).

Oh okay, not in a relationship reading.
Can I ask the exact question? Could actually refer to temporary break (not daily mailing) & focussing on body. Reversed it's all about choosing the material world (body) also. That's why it comes up for purely sexual relationships for me. Altough I would like to see a pents card there as an extra if health related. Especially a court one. Also the psychological part is then most likely postponed. IP: Logged |

Hi Ceridwen, My thoughts are that it could indicate there is some sort of imbalance or unevenness in the relationship, even if it seems like everything is fine. Not to try and create a problem where there isn't one, but maybe there's an undercurrent flowing beneath the surface that they're either not aware of yet or are in denial about. This could only be happening with one person, or it could happening with both/the relationship in general. I also thought Twirl's viewpoint was interesting in "no choice being made/easier to leave things as they are". - KS ------------------

The exact question was: Is something wrong with her and if so, what?
