If someone could please do a tarot reading about if my ex ever thinks about the words I said to him, did they make any kind of impact on him?

I feel like your words made an impact on him, for the good. I think that your words came from a place of kindness, truthfulness and compassion, and that definitely was a positive influence and he does think about what you said. Is he currently struggling with some kind of addiction issue / depression? It is really tough for him and his energy seems weak, and it is interesting that you mentioned suicide because 8 of cups is a card of weariness and abandoning a hopeless situation.
