I have no idea what to make of this...Asked why someone keeps me at arms distance whether it was fear or just person issues emperor- ace of wands- tower Could it be that the emperor is so used to having his structure and keeping things a certain way that he is afraid of them falling apart (tower)? Not sure how the ace fits in, powerful sexual attraction? IP: Logged |

Yes, that sounds about right I think. He is controlling (emperor) his attraction (ace wands) to you and doesn't want things in his life to change/being disrupted (tower).

Yes I am...and he has said that I'm good at breaking down his control...I think the root cause here is fear. An emperor sticks to rules and traditions in fear of losing control over his empire. I see a kind of saturn/uranus conjunction here. IP: Logged |

Lol, well, think Little already nailed it here. And you did learn me a new word. Had to google, lol. Sounds like a tough character. Btw: do you guys also get a strong Taurus feel with The Emperor? I know he is actually Aries, but I always see his conservative side as most outstanding. Might be just me though (dislike strict rules) and/or maybe I don't understand the sign of Aries. Do you reckon so? Taurus is the hierophant, no? The Emperor is not materialistic, for one thing. There's a strong ego, the urge to make things happen his way. Do his values have to be that conservative? I'm not sure, unless we define having rules/being disciplined as conservative enough. I also see a certain restraint re: desires, lack of self-indulgence. At any rate he's not a pleasure-seeker for pleasures sake, almost as if this was all about being another sign of his power. I'm actually wondering if the king of pents is interested in power, prob not per se. Power is his platform for identification and justifying his existential pride/dignity, not too Taurean IMO IP: Logged |

I can see why he's seen as Aries but I personally can't entirely fit him to Aries... A lot of the what's the supposed astrological fittings to the cards don't make much sense to me. I see the emperor as Saturn, Tower as Uranus, Devil as Pluto, Empress as Taurus. IP: Logged |
