I'm thinking the 7 of swords might show tiptoeing around... You mean like walking on eggshells not to upset anyone, right? Tension also has to be shown then. Most likely in wands? Like 8 wands crossed by the 7 of swords. Or would it be the other way around? 2 of wands could do for someone trying to dominate the other. Haven't seen this in cards. I'll think about it. Interesting question! IP: Logged |

hm, no, not 7 swords, somehow I feel it doesn't quite fit, for me it's more about being cunningi'd say something like maybe a combo of 2 swords + Knight of Cups aka the smooth talker IP: Logged |

That's funny. I used that word the other to describe how I feel around someone the other day. May be I should pull a card or two..IP: Logged |

So funny! I actually pulled a card for it and 7 of swords came up Here's the description in my deck: Seven of swords suggests new situations where we are uncertain who our real friends are. We feel vulnerable because we don't know the lay of the land... So interesting, I just love, love that my deck is so awesomely intelligent is answering me, hehe, sorry .. Hope that helps a little IP: Logged |

Excellent 2 of swords I can see with the delicate balance, friction felt internally yet not acted upon to "safe the peace". 7 of swords isn't just cunning and deceit. It's about avoidance & taking an easy route out also. Often to not address something. IP: Logged |

LOLSo I repeated that person's name and pulled a card. 7 of swords. Nothing cunning or ill-intent, I just don't want to talk to her.. IP: Logged |

When I say walking on eggshells I mean having to tip-toe around a person so as to not offend them or get tem angry, feeling you need to censor yourself to keep the harmony. Like a family member with a temper that you try to say the right things to so as to not set them off, or someone who is overly sensitive that you need to phrase things carefully to so as to not have them burst into tears. I mean avoidance is certainly one way of dealing with it (kind of) but for me it's not what walking on egg shells means. IP: Logged |

I still think the 7 of swords shows the tip toeing. It's what behaviour like that looks like. Has so many meanings & you can see he is acting with caution. And the 2 of swords as andstuff mentioned really describes that behaviour/responses you describe (say right things - keep remaining that balance, altough the swords she's holding are dead heavy). Maybe Strength RX there as the possible explosive person? Which ones did you think of? IP: Logged |

I don't read reversals so I can't say for strength but it would make sense... The 2 and 7 of swords both resonate too although I think the 7 may make more sense for me in my decks...it's about having resources and using them wisely which is what you have to do when you're tip-toeing around someone else. You have to figure out how to use your knowledge in ways to please them and it often puts you in an uncomfortable position. IP: Logged |
