I pulled a few cards for you

Six of swords rx.
Two of swords rx
Ace of cups

Clarification 3 of cups

I see there being problems, delays things come up that may be out of your control, maybe you feel you made the wrong decision but I see something new being offered. So it seems with the clarification card being the three of cups there may very well be a second chance.
Or that maybe just something better will come along that will bring you joy. Oh I did pull one more card and got 2 of pentacles which is the card of second chances so I would say yes.

I would have to say no, I don't think anything will happen between you and George in October. The 4 makes me think you're waiting for an offer to show up, and as a result, start a journey that's new and exciting (the Fool.) The 9 though, for me, is the card of hurt feelings and the idea that the world is against us. Sort of sulky, in the corner, "you didn't knock me down, so jokes on you, and just you wait." I realize that's a long way to describe a very simple feeling. The Page as the clarifier says to me that maybe you need to be more active. It's a pentacle, so it refers to work, though whether it's professional or work that you need to do on yourself (inner), I'm not sure. What's profound to me about this is that the Page is the only character looking to the right. The other three cards are looking to the left. This to me says that if you are waiting for George to make a move... this might not be the best decision. There's something not being seen, and the Page is asking you to start grounding yourself a bit more and looking towards change and a new realization.
