The devil came up.

Any ideas?

Does it mean C hates her teacher, think they are bounded in some way, seductive, evil etc?

What a weird card to get for opinion of feeling for someone.

Btw both of them are the same gender. Ideas anyone?

Yeah, a weird kind of attraction may be going on... but I think C sees the teacher mainly as someone who's bound by some needs to work as a teacher. She would've been doing something else if there had been another source of income available. This teacher is anything but your average educator. She poses a threat to her peers. The relationship between her and the others who teach at the same school is similar to present days' ongoing Uranus-Pluto square.

They think the teacher is powerful & ambitious.
Edit: also very authoritive of course, but he is very successful in his job & charismatic. Might literally push C.'s own limits.

I think to get a more negative, sexual feeling, or even something other than workaholic or obsessive, I'd need other cards around it. For me personally, the card alone speaks to addiction with a dangerous undercurrent, but usually more with things or ideas than people. If court cards show up around it, or any other kind of card that represents relationships, then my eyes and ears perk up to what's going on on a romantic/sexual level.

Hmm interesting, becca. So you pick that the teacher has a bit of an obsession, or maybe the student thinks so.

Yes, but not necessarily a bad one. The Devil is in the details, so for me, by itself, this card is about the nagging, repetitive ways we mentally go over things, and how that can be very unhealthy. So if we're talking about opinions or someone's personality, I would put down other cards to find out what they were obsessed with.

More cards have to be pulled out so that we can see how its energy is manifesting further.

I couldn't have been able to know whether she was an outside teacher or not. Still, her interaction with people working in the same domain remains the same. Her posing a threat to them is a synonym for challenging the status quo of any belief system they have. The Devil Rx is the negative card, not this one. C thinks of her teacher as someone who has Luciferian principles. If C is indeed attracted to her teacher, then she thinks of this as something she never thought in her life she'd experience; hidden passions; strong, secret infatuation; C might be 'addicted' to interacting with her teacher as many times she can, but not because of some unhealthy, energy-draining, time-consuming obsession.

Hi DI,

I pulled three more clarification cards. 6 of wands, Justice and the sun Rx.

Can it mean the student thinks the teacher is smart, charismatic and understand the concept of fairness? The sun reversed can mean a misunderstanding?

Could it be C thinks her teacher is expensive? Last I heard Devil means money.
