Why is it that I don't feel like an 11th house moon?Moon is my chart ruler so it's placement should be important in my chart yet I don't really relate to the descriptions of an 11th house moon. Paired with my 7th house stellium and Gemini moon, you'd think I'd be very sociable and have a need to be involved in groups but I'm just the opposite. I've read descriptions of moon in the 12th and feel like for the most part, it's spot on. Is there more to the 11th house? Am I missing something? Here's my chart: - EDIT - IP: Logged |

hey there,well your moon is only 6 degrees away from the 12th house, and so it could be interpreted as being placed in the 12th house. also the cusp of your 12th house is the same as the sign your moon is placed in :gemini, and so the ways your 12th house is expressed and the ways your moon is expressed tend to be similar, which may be why you feel that way. ^ I think 6 degrees would be too far to interpret it as being in 12th.The ruler of your Moon, mercury is in Cappy, is retrogade, conjuncts Saturn, both can make you little bit anti-social and mercury also conjuncts Neptune which rules the 12th house. IP: Logged |

Hi socialgraffiti  Thanks for the response. I wasn't sure if my moon was close enough to the cusp to be considered in the next house. When I switch to whole signs, it does get placed in the 12th. Never thought to consider how my 12th house is expressed though. Good point. Thank you! IP: Logged |

anonymidarkness, I think that's what it is. I have so much Saturn in my chart, it must be stifling some of the expression of the other planets/placements.I'll keep rulership in mind. Thank you both for your insight! IP: Logged |
