Two years ago I split from my long term girlfriend, and at the moment in feeling very hopeless.

Your chart is actually quite nice – nothing ‘major’ to be concerned over. Your chart does show someone who is very giving in love, but at the same time perhaps overly demanding of someone and their affection/loyalty. Not sure why you and the gf split, but your chart would come across imo as someone arrogant, demanding, and willing to fight/debate a good deal – perhaps as a guy who doesn’t let the female shine, even though you might think you’re doing that. But it’s a great chart for the right person; you’re likely outgoing and fun, generous, and just want someone who can understand the deep emotions that you experience. You have a scorpio moon, which can be a lot of things, depending on how you feel – vengeful, cold, affectionate, emotional, etc. It’s a placement that does take a while to get over love hurts, so that’s expected. Your hopeless feeling could also be stemming from the venus opposite Neptune you have; you have Neptune in the 1st, although at a late degree, but still… you likely romanticize/fanastaize and would suffer from disappointments when things don’t go as well as you want/hope. Neptune in the 1st lends itself to dreaminess and longing, and opposite the venus it would lead to deception about never being in love or finding what you’re looking for. Which is false, of course. You also have venus opposite Uranus, which can be ‘unsteady’ – a person who likes change and mixing things up, particularly in relationships.
