So I had my dissertation defense yesterday and it went horrible. I was asked the questions I thought that would never come (and which were not so much related to my project) and at the end, I just ended up with a very bad note.

I wanna know if this whole thing going wrong is because of me or was I really just 'unlucky'? Because I would have normally answered those questions but I don't know what happened to me.. The whole thing went wrong.. Do I have to look for a reason behind all this?

I pulled the chariot, strength, 2 of cups, and 8 of pentacles as clarification.

My overall feeling is this was just an unfortunate bump, and that you will surely succeed next time you test. With the chariot, it seems you were all ready to go but were thrown a curve ball via a minor technicality you missed (the sphinx are not quite ready). Similar to a missing the forest for the trees.

Please don't be discouraged, as you have this down. It is only a matter of perfecting the possible trick question scenarios, and it is in the bag.

Thank you so so much! I wish I could repeat the examination but it's not possible anymore :/ It was my last oral examination and my grade is already known, I graduated. It just sucks...

I did the rune readings for you; I did a simple three rune spread. (past-present-future)

The stones I picked were

PAST (effecting the present) : NAUDIR
PRESENT : EIHWAZ
POSSIBLE OUTCOME : ISA

So what I got from the reading is that you are not happy with your current employment, you feel the need to change something in your life, you feel 'out of sync' in a way and actually what blocks your current situation is the need to change; you are in conflict with yourself. You want to change your life but you also want to stay in your current path.
I think that you should take the second offer because it will change your life in a good way. The third rune represents what will happen if you stay in your current path and ISA means 'ice' so there will be a standstill position if you continue this way..
So yeah, I think you should take the second offer because it will make a good change in your life =)

examens are finished for you Congrats ! But I know how you feel when you have work hard toward something and it didn't go as planned.

The reading was right on target! Initially, I accepted the offer, than declined (nerves/fears). Immediately, I regretted going back on the offer /: I started to feel staying on the easier path, wouldn't be best...Very much as staying on ice. The current job is super easy, but also super boring and stagnate.

So, in my regrets...I began to pray/meditate and asked my spirit & Angel guides for a sign...Right after that, I received a call asking me to reconsider my refusal. I was reassured if the new job doesn't work out; returning to my current job is an option.

After a strong sign like that, there was no way I could continue refusing =) I accepted the job, and will start very soon. THank you again for the reading, you are very talented with the runes.

Best wishes on your future studies, the exam glitch was certainly not about you. It really stinks to be disappointed, and I give you big kudos for analyzing if there was anything you could have done to prevent this. My heart and the cards strongly indicate that you really did your best, and sometimes there is the lesson of accepting random disappointments and gaining insight from acceptance & release =)

Sorry that it took me so long to do your reading! I was busy with moving and stuff so I couldn't reply here :/

So I did your rune reading. While concentrating I did not directly ask about your love life but I stated the issue of you and your ex since rune readings are a bit different.

The three stones I picked were

PAST (effecting the present) : RAIDHO
PRESENT : BERKANA
FUTURE : SOWILO

What I got from the reading is that the situation between you and your ex changed your life in a way that the break-up gave you a life lesson and it took you in this spiritual journey. It might be the break-up itself or the 'damage' your ex did to you but this whole break up made you a different person and this actually is really good because your past with your ex and this break-up totally gave you strength, made you a better person and because of this, you are now stronger.
This shows with the BERKANA rune which means new beginning and fertility. My main aim in this reading was to find if anything was gonna happen between you and your ex but I don't think anything is gonna happen between you two.
