I'll think you will keep your job.
After the staff reduction things will be tough at start (as expected). Some will feel unappreciated & exploited. Like they should do all for the company, but the company doesn't appreciate them. There will be a turn around in this attitude though which will change the atmosphere between the employers (possibly the choices made again being explained by the leadership) & instead of criticising the policy, people will turn around & start looking at the long term goals & what is perceived with these cut backs. This will put people back on the same page & wanting to work towards those goals as a team again.
