I think its the yod, pointing to Pluto, with the base of Saturn and Mars in her natal chart. This coupled with the synastry - because there's a lot of oppositions to that Saturn. Likewise, the Pluto is in the male's 5th house.

Of course, this does not mean that all people with this configuration would be abusive, its more that this is how the energy is manifesting in this chart. Pluto, Uranus, Saturn, etc are difficult - but violence/destruction can be transformative to and teach really amazing life lessons. Depends on the person, age, and likewise a number of other factors...

I feel bad for the female...she's going to have a difficult time of it.

I'm guessing the male is her father or other older male figure in her life. Step dad possibly. Keep these up a couple of days more. I won't quite but it's difficult to analyze these on my phone.

The male has chiron retro in the 8th. I doubt that he truly enjoys what he's doing in the end.

I think it's more of an addiction not a pleasure seeking thing. It might have been initially but this has nothing to do with the girl. He would alway have issues with these matters regardless of where or who he was with.
