The Cancer is exact birth time from a birth certificate. The Capricorn is off by a few minutes. I asked them and they asked their parents, but their parents couldn't remember the exact time.

the cancer person has their sun/venus (housed already in the romantic 5th) almost exact conjunct the other person's ASC, so the cancer sun/venus person is going to be head over heels for the other person and probably see them as some type of physical perfection - like a dream come true, whether realistic or not. the ASC person is going to bathe in that admiration (and will like the cancer sun/venus person) but likely not be as infatuated.

the cancer sun person also has the partners virgo moon falling into their 7th house, so they are going to idealize the partener and see them as having traits they want/desire in a mate long-term. this is the type of person they have been looking for.

the cancer sun person also has their 12th house activated by the venus of the partner, so they will be thinking about that person A LOT, and having romantic fantasies and etc. the other person might share that to some degree.

the venus/saturn and saturns are both conjunct, which is favorable for partnership long-term. you have oppositions of sun/sun and venus/mars both of which indicate attraction because of dissimilar traits.

there are a few problems though, imo. it's mostly the cancer sun person who will be affected by the partnership and want it to develop; the cap sun person will have interest for sure, but not to the same depth, because the houses activated by the cancer aren't as great for romance. there is uranus/neptune in the cap's 7th, but those can be more troublesome than good, and the sun/mars of the cancer are hitting a friendship house, as is the stellium of the cap person, it's reciprocal friendship i see.

and the biggest downfall is the mercury opposite venus both ways. that just sucks, honestly. the relationship is going to be disagreements nonstop once the happiness fades - lots of issues there. i'd say this is 'dangerous' synastry for the cancer person because they would get too involved and ultimately not have their feelings returned in the same way. take a good hard look at the synastry and take note that the cancer person is going to be far more interested - that sun/venus conjunct the partner's ASC just blurs common sense for the sun/venus person.

just opinion, good luck.

Wow, thank you very much. It is actually pretty spot on. I am unfortunately the Cancer and have gotten to know the Capricorn pretty well over the last three years. I genuinely care for this person a great deal (not in a romantic way) but have quickly realized they don't care that much for me. One last question, is it possible to tell the purpose for us meeting? Or do I need to post a composite chart? Knowing the reason for our meeting would really be beneficial. Thank you.
