I recently put a profile of mine online. Now, originally, I did it as an experiment b/c I never do online dating, but I got an interesting message from a guy and we've talked. Very unexpected. He's M, I'm K. If that helps at all.

What kind of energies surround this situation at the moment......

Perhaps a little more in depth information would be nice?

Right, I looked into your cards. There's something very slow about this situation with M. I'm not sure if you are the one that's rather careful about this, but I suppose you are more so than him. He comes across as confident to me, the type of man that knows what he wants. Is he also a bit older than you are? There is a strange mixture of 'weighing options' yet some intensely felt physical reaction going on between you. I'm guessing he is more straight forward in his approach. He wouldn't cross the line with that though. But he is attracted to you of course.
However I don't sense a lot of romance around this situation just yet. There's a serious overtone & I also think that his 'impressiveness' (or what you find impressive) is hitting a few insecurity buttons inside of you. That's what's making you hesitant. I think it's safe to go with the flow in regards to this gentleman & just see where this little discovery journey takes you. There seems to be a good 'mental click'.
Did you already 'see' each other like on the webcam?
I'm guessing one of you will suggest that soon or perhaps even a real life meeting, but I think it will be the web cam first. There's too little to go on at this point to see it develop into something real life romantic just yet. I'm not sure if there's enough passion for it & as stated before, one of you would be a really slow one to decide to actually take action in regards to that (as for now).
But in general I have the feeling that you will be able to find him trusting enough to want to at least see/examine if there are next steps to be made. It's all very much in the beginning stage at this point.

Yes, I am careful; he is older than me...about 38. The serious overtone is right...no frivalous stuff going on for sure. We talk about poetry, writing, etc so the "mental click" you mentioned is there. He is very well travelled and educated which is good and he mentioned that my love for travel was what he liked.

We haven't done any skyping or anything yet--but he did give me his number to call.
