Inspired by the other poster, I checked my chart & the eclipse is conjunct my NN & Uranus in the 6th. What can this mean? And what does a solar eclipse actually do? I read up about it, but still not too sure what it's all about. Ps: I don't suppose its coïncidental I read psychology books all day? IP: Logged |

It is conjunct mine too Twirl, in the 10th house. Guess it'll help us move a bit closer to our destiny, to our purpose in this life.IP: Logged |

Thanks Jess Aah, okay, so you have been having Saturn on top of it for a while too then, I assume... But would it be related to the own house it's in? (So 6 for me & 10 for you) or would you look at Pluto and/or the 8th house in the chart also? IP: Logged |

This is the return of the (possible) Eclipses of your birth. Depending on what time of year you were born. You would DEFINITELY look in the House it is in. Six months ago, you would look to the House it is Opposite. See what happened then, as this is the culmination of that. Of course, they go together, especially at the Lunar. It also depends on if or which one is heavily aspected, angular, etc. This is part of a nineteen year cycle. Wait, Jess; you are a Leo, aren't you? So it's Square? Mostly you look at the Sign and House. With the other things I said. IP: Logged |

YEAHHHH LOL I felt SO SO different yesterday, I can't explain it..I had the weirdest dream ever.. I have a stellium in Leo, venus, merc, saturn, and sun. The solar eclipse was squaring my sun at 8 degrees,my venus-merc conjunction at 0 degree, conjunct my natal NN at 2 degrees. Gosh do you have any idea what it means??? IP: Logged |

Thanks for the link, Imeanj. That's very insightful & so well described! @ellyn: Thank you!It makes sense if I look 6 months back & that it's all about the 12th - 6th house axis. I made some rather big changes, roughly started around 8/9 months ago. Possibly the major ones around 6 months ago. So this cycle just started? I'm also a Leo by the way. IP: Logged |

It was squaring my natal saturn. Yeah of course you would relate it to where your natal NN is positioned, the houses and the aspects it makes. IP: Logged |

Yes, I am a Leo too, lol. What astro vibes was I giving of? I looked it up, the eclipse didn't make any aspects to my natal sun, but did square my NSaturn & my MC. Sextiling my Venus and some smaller aspects. Yes, sure, look it up :-) I didn't check mine yet, but I made major changes, but I thought that namely started because of TSaturn on my NN. (& it has been walking uo & down there with the retrograde, etc.) IP: Logged |

IDK why I always thought you were a Libra!! haha lol! I remember we talked about similarities between our chiron and NN. I have NN in Scorp 10th house being Libra..hmm If I look back 6 months or so it wouldn't be changes relating to my 10th house it would rather be changes relating to my 7th house...suspect it's the Libra ( natural 7th house) effect..and I have a singleton pluto in libra... Pluto is also my only planet in Libra. My progressed Venus & Mars are in Libra though & my Sun & Mercury will move there next year. Are there any other aspects made that relate to your 7th? Mine were to bring the knowledge from 12th to the 6th of service. Or that seems to sum it up for me. IP: Logged |

You guys are moving to fast, I can't keep up, today...So in regards to eclipses the major ones are NN and Sun and Ascendant. Depending on the exact degrees or if it falls on your birthday will affect you more or less. This one was a double whammy because not only was it a solar eclipse (new beginnings) it fell on a new moon. The charts can be found here: http://www.cafeastrology.com/2013eclipsescharts.html Some other good info: http://darkstarastrology.com/category/eclipses/ Specific questions??? IP: Logged |

So you don't have planets in Gemini and aquarius? My 7th house stellium squares my natal NN except my sun. The solar eclipse at 11 degrees scorp squares my 7th house stellium tightly except my Nsun ( 8 degrees). IP: Logged |

Good reads! Yeah I have loads. How do you think the squares to NN are felt? IP: Logged |

That makes sense then, the focus on the 7th, right? I have a Gemini ASC & my MC is in Aquarius. I have a 3-planet stellium in the 12th & 3 personal planets in Virgo (in 5th with Leo on cusp). But no, not much air at all, which is surprising, I do agree, lol. Mercury is very prominent though. IP: Logged |

sorrrryyy, am feeling weird today.. I have natal squares to my NN, venus-merc-saturn squares my NN alright..I'm still in search of what it means actually.. This solar eclipse comes along and squares my natal sun, venus and mercury so you see this is some sort of trigger happening on my natal venus-merc-NN squares, this solar eclipse also happens to tightly conjunct by natal NN. So I was wondering what it all could mean. IP: Logged |

Yes totally. I feel my 10th house is somewhat linked to my 7th house because they square each other! Did I tell you I have Hecate sitting in Scorp too IP: Logged |

How do you mean square? Do you have a grand cross? Is it a Venus/Merc/Saturn conjunct or they all square each other, because those placements as well as degrees matter. Generally, the eclipses mean all sorts of things - also dependent on where you are. For me, I got the round of my Sun's a couple of years ago, and it made me INSANE. No fun, but I learned a lot from it. http://www.drstandley.com/leo_daily_horoscope_November_2_2013.shtml You guys are Leo's right? Look at November 3rd too in case...

yep it's a venus-merc-saturn conjunction in 7th house squares NN in scorp. Saturn is at 5 degrees, venus-merc conjunct exact at 11 degrees something.IP: Logged |

What degrees is the square, is it bisecting the middle or is it closer to the Saturn? BOO YEAH: http://www.moonvalleyastrologer.com/eclipses/ IP: Logged |

No, they are not bisecting. NN squares venus-merc at 2 degrees, squares Saturn at 3 degrees. My moon sq pluto and mars sq Neptune bisect it.IP: Logged |

^ This is me intuiting... Eclipse square/Venus/Mercury, means needing to work on that which involves love. Instead of going to go shopping or indirectly working with things in that arena, to actually learn to communicate so that you can work with things directly. The Eclipse square/Saturn working with your surpressed needs. Not about being strong anymore, but peeling away the next layers. Expressing sensitivity the needy emotions about what you want, etc. I think the example that was given was a child that was extremely mature b/c a parent was not, so though the child was nurturing as a secondary parent to the siblings. It creates a person who may be needy in relationships or unreliable financially etc. and so this eclipse would work on bettering those hang ups from childhood. No hugs here but instead cleaning up the vomit... Feel on the ball with this one, but take with a grain of salt. IP: Logged |
