Could anyone please have a look at my horary?
The question is "Will he come back?"

Since I decided to cut off from him I wonder if he's going to come back or contact me.

I tried to read by myself, but I'm just a beginner.

Saturn on the cusp of 8th? or in the 7th? Is it true that when saturn is in the 7th, the horary is invalid?

Twinky, Welcome, and saturn in the 7th house is a stricture against judgement if anyone other than you was to read this. so chart is invalid...sorry!

Thank you for the reply.
I thought being on the cusp of 8th would mean the stricture cannot apply here. That's sad. I think otherwise the horary is positive.

Can I make another horary, or should I wait for a while?

Why is it a stricture of judgment?

Because the reader can't read the chart with clarity and things get bogged down.

See http://www.moonvalleyastrologer.com/horary-astrology/ for more strictures against judgement.

Hi Hanna a stricture against it. Given the person isn't reading for themselves, the reader (that is you or I) become represented by the 7th house, and Saturn over there indicates that the readers judgement could be clouded, or aren't seeing the bigger picture.

on the other hand if she wanted to read for herself, that is fine, as she isn't the 7th house.

The 7th house is Libra, Saturn is on the 7th/8th house cusp. I, personally will attempt reading the chart. It may indicate that the querent realized something important about this relationship or is on the verge of changing their opinion about something.

Twinky, check out the link I posted in my other comment, as it's a pretty basic, easy way for you to at least get a feel out of your chart.

Anyhow, I can tell you some of the things you can see for yourself: you're Mars, your ex is Venus. Venus is faster than Mars, which usually means the faster "person" is the one most interested in the contact with the slower "person".

Was this chart generated in the am or the pm? Venus can be dignified by triplicity, which would make him more able to act, i.e., come back. You're peregrine and in a cadent house, so you're kinda drifting there.

Uranus in H1 indicates a surprising change. To what, only you can tell us.

The trine Venus-Mars have going on is applying, which would indicate a positive answer, but then, there could be other factors (like the surprising change I just spoke about) to prevent the outcome from being fulfilled.

The link I posted is the one I used when I began reading horary charts and it's very easy to follow its instructions

Best of luck!

i'd still go with what the old 'masters' who called themselves students forever and who knew much more about horary than any of us here, thought....and refrain from reading this chart.
If someone wants to make their own new rules, that's another story.

Might I add to Fille's post that Mars is exalted in capricorn, while Venus is in fall in virgo, so it may mean that the querent has fond feelings for the quesited and the latter is probably not very comfortable to reciprocate. I'd say this chart was generated in the morning.

Greatly fond of him, but since this wasn't a real, steady relationship and he had feelings for his ex, I decided I had to move on.. But I really can't! I really can't take him out of my mind and heart just like that.

Thanks for the link, I'm checking it.
The horary was generated in the afternoon. What do you mean, dignified by triplicity?

I really liked the symbolism of this horary, since I am a Virgo and he is a Capricorn. Me being Mars and him being Venus isn't very "traditional", but in our synastry my Mars tightly squares his Venus. So, even if I saw Saturn in 7th h. something told me it was OK to read it.

Are these symbolisms telling in a Horary?

When reading it by myself, I saw a positive outcome. I just wanted a second more analytical opinion, since I'm not very experienced.

Technical detail: if the time of the horary was set 2 minutes earlier, saturn would clearly be in the 8th. I don't exactly remember how many minutes passed (if any) from the time of the question generated, to the moment I put the data on astro.com. I used the pc time, I'll be able to check tomorrow if the pc time is accurate or some minutes back/forward.

In the afternoon.
But it is the opposite: Venus in Cap and Mars in Virgo.

Saturn is in the 8th, you can take appr. 3 to 5 degrees of orbs, so the chart is readable. If you don't exactly know the moment of asking, the moment that you cast the chart is valid.
