Topic: Love reading for me please?

I've gotten a lot of 'good news' readings in regards to love relationships and none of it has happened. In fact it's been the opposite. Can someone read for me please? Even if it's just advice on things that I may need to do better. Thanks. IP: Logged |

I didn't really look at future developments, but asked what I could tell you about your understanding of love. It doesn't look all cheerful. To me it feels like you see it as something in which one must 'invest' a lot before it will pay of. Not only that, but it feels to me like you see love as a battle/fight which you'll end up losing. The power struggle & people being mean generally seems prominent (5 of swords). It's not a matter of parties winning of losing and/or forcing one or the other to 'give in'. It feels like that is your expectation & that's the view that needs transforming to start with. Also try to avoid the type of men that do not seem completely interested/a bit bored from the start. You will not conquer them, nor be able to change them.
Hope that resonates.
Did you ever look into the dynamics of that bad relationship/therapy? Working through it, will help you attract & choose a healthier partner. IP: Logged |

The Knight of Cups And how would the relationship be?
I got the Queen of Cups I think the two Knights and Queen are the ones that are making you expect fast emotional and financial stability and giving a lot of sensitivity in regards to this choice. IP: Logged |

Well clearly not at all what I wanted to read lol...He felt more like my type than anyone else really. I had even asked the cards this at one point, seemed auspicious 6 of cups, 2 of cups, 8 of rods. I had asked if we work well together. Oddly enough he and I have some of the best synastry I've ever had with someone I was interested in. He is very non-traditional which having grown up in a traditional family definitely rattles my cage, but I like it. Is he a perfect fit? No. But I don't really believe in those. I did always feel like he would be someone I could work with on things, not sure how to explain it...but again something I've never had before and have always wanted. As for the cards, I have been getting 5 of swords a lot. I got it today as part of my daily reading, got it the other day before the chat (it was followed by queen of cups and strength which I took as a good sign). Love and relationships, marriage, all seem very bleak to me. I see so few relationships where people are actually happy in them. I guess you could say I don't believe I will find a relationship that would make me happy, or even someone that seems completely interested in me (he seemed more interested in me than I him, when we first met). It resonates a lot but I am not an optimistic person. I'm realistic, cynical. I don't know how to change that view because it is based on what I see and experience everyday so I am very well aware of the fact that this type of thinking will be what makes me fulfill my own prophecy so to speak. I do go to counseling and my counselor encourages me to date but I don't date like other people do. It seems stupid and pointless to me. So in a way it is me, I'm the problem. Being optimistic about relationships has always blown up in my face. I don't see how I can change this because I can't see any other outcome. I can't understand any other way of thinking. Don't be too hard on yourself 
You don't have to date like others do (after all you are you ) Also, I didn't specifically look to him & you together, but if he pushes you away, I doubt it's worth it (altough I know that feels do different now). Last, it will change, even if that feels unbelievable for now, your views & perspectives will switch over time & also your likes/give-takes & the men you like/choices etc.
All later on though... Just be proud for all you are doing

LOL!!! Do I really come off as that bitchy? I won't hunt you down, I pinky promise!I can't say he pushes me away or has pushed me away. He was cold in the beginning but started thawing out and lately has been surprisingly intimate. I don't know how to explain it but I just felt this shift and I was getting what I had been wanting for months. I know that my views will change over time it just this feels so embedded into my being that I don't know how it will. Also I was feeling really crappy.. Heck even my clothing style has changed!!! lol (I never thought it would) I do hope that parts of me change, I'm just not very optimistic about it. I was feeling so sleepy last night. I bearly managed to post your reply and crashed to bed. LOL. OK what I meant was, what you are now is the product of your past experiences. So, your immediate need for financial and emotional security alonwith the emotional sensitivity and intuition are getting reflected in the reading. The cards are telling it all. So now that you have left the message to the universe. Give it time to work and get back to you. Like how we sip an exquisite wine. Not like how some people gulp a mug full of bear. I hope age is on your side to do this. If not and you want to hurry then you will have to be more accommodating. Difficult for a queen. Lol, yes, very much described my thoughts & feelings on the situation. I'm doubting if I just should do it for the experience... Also, I can't think of how to arrange it best.
And I am leaning towards a 'no'. But it's also a good opportunity, so that's where it clashes within me... Have to tell them today... :-/
I think if I try, my gut will be right & it just won't work what they actually want from me... I just can't think of something 'in between'... (Which is perhaps a sign cause normally my inspiration starts 'boiling' straight away). Ps: I sound ridiculously 4 of cups  ^

I'm still unclear if this was just insight/advice for me or a reading for the future... I will tell you this though, the Knight of Pents has been showing up for me in terms of love. For me its a sign of slow and steady wins the race. It won't happen as quickly as I may want it to but a slow build up. Which in all honesty I need but don't want lol. I recognize that this is how I need to work out for me but I'm still impatient and wish they would work out faster, so internally I struggle a lot. Externally it looks like I run hot and cold. I am like the Queen of Cups when in love, I think. I tend to fall easily (not always for the right people, plenty a lesson learned I tell you!), I do my best to accept who they are and love unconditionally. I'm sensitive in my reactions because again, I'm a product of my environment. I have been working on this and have gotten better but there's still work to be done. I'm also sensitive to the needs and moods of those I care for (including friends). I can easily pick up on what they are feeling. As for my wish, I guess it's up to the Universe, I don't feel there is anything I can actually 'do', so if that's what you mean then I guess I have done that. I hope...lol

Yes you do sound like the 4 of cups but to be selfish I'm glad that a reading resonated. I've been feeling off my game so I've been avoiding this forum. But yea, I saw you as the King and the 4 of cups stifling your energy, the hanged man having no where to go. So basically saying energy that won't go anywhere. Hopefully things work out in some way that they won't be too upset? Keep me posted?

I was asked to be 'the king of wands' indeed. I just told them that I'm not sure about it & thought it might not work well (so I basically declined) & offered a counter proposal. It's no use if I do something & it will be dissapointing... Every time I don't listen to that feeling, it does turn out that way...

I tend to read it in a linear way, like building a story. So the 6 of wands would be the answer but it's fairly subdued bc of the star and 4 of swords. The star is not much of an action card to me, it's about keeping hope alive, looking forward to something, having faith. So reading it literally would be something like don't lose faith, don't rush, rest a bit and you will get what you hoped for. Or something like, wait a bit (a few hours since this was about calling today), and you will be successful then. IP: Logged |

Tried some lenormand for you & him for the nexf week. I think he will write you a letter/contact you & will say you are special to him/he does really like you, which will take the heat of what happened. However it still feels difficult to move those feelings forward & the status quo is probably still the same. He might say something along the lines: 'I want you to be happy, (but... I can't iffer that currently, etc.) But I think this message will give more rest. So wait till he contacts you.

That does sound like something he would say...he has moon square a venus/Uranus conjunction which I blame for his ability to separate things like love, sex, friends and romantic/relationship. A bit of over idealization. He did say that he doesn't want a relationship with anyone right now, which unfortunately gives me hope :-/ Stupid empty feeling. Part of the reason why I brought up the conversation with him was because I was paranoid about Venus going Rx, starting a relationship during that is like dooming it from the beginning. I just checked and realized that Venus doesn't Rx until Dec 22 and then goes direct Feb 1st...I may have jumped the gun lol. Ironically enough I had a dream last night of some guy (can't remember the face) telling me he wants to a relationship now, that he's ready and I'm freaking out because I'm wondering if Venus is Rx or not.
