I think in true Cappy fashion he doesn't want to rush things. He wants to be prepared for something long term. Which would include social status, work, being well established and able to provide. He may have suffered some hurt in the past and is using that experience to sort of 'rest' and meditate (4 of swords) on the future he wants to build.

What should you do with D? Stick it out, walk away?

Hehe, I think you're already too in love/falling in love to walk away. I think what you have been doing is good, being patient, telling him how you feel (without going nuts, maintaining respect). The 2 of wands indicates making plans for the future, which is always an unknown. How can you be sure? You can't. So the choice you have to make is whether or not you yourself are willing to go through the ups and downs, to accept the unexpected, or are do you want to let the opportunity pass you by? You may have to find some type of half-way point with him where you both agree to what you want. [/B]

Thank you, littlecloud! What you've said definitely resonates with me. He does make comments about wanting to make enough money for us to do things in the future, so I feel like what you said fits. Sigh.. you're also right about my feelings in regards to him lol. I'm glad to hear you think I've been doing the right thing.. it does seem to be working. I'm sure many other women would've freaked out by now. My guy does tell me to stick it out and at least give it a real chance to develop.. hopefully that'll be the right decision in the long run.

if you're looking for an engagement this mann is not going to be ready for a good 3 plus years. will you get a committed partnership with this man yes you will eventually but maybe a good six to nine month will it last. he does like you and he has feelings for you will continue to grow but you can't make someone be ready when they're just biologically not.

you on the other hand will continue the way that you feel sometimes it will be good sometimes it will be bad. this situation was meant to happen to you, it will help with your emotional growth.... remember that is key in this relationship. he's a good guy and you're a good girl it just won't meant to be because it just simply cannot click...it's not meant to work out, but you will have gained so much is value will experience in terms of yourself and relating that's why I say that this relationship that you're going to go down... is 100 percent going to be worth it. and when you feel that you two are finally going in different ways you will be the one to gracefully walk out of that relationship but you'll still have a foundation with each other it will be a good relationship even when you end it. so I say stay in relationship and keep doing what you're doing.... what you have been doing in terms of telling him what you feel is right what you feel is wrong don't get Stampede on. believe it or not this relationship is going to be very healthy for you!!

I did a 3 card spread, with one extra card that fell out while shuffling.

Cards were: Page of Cups, 8 of Cups, 10 of Cups.. extra card is 6 of Pentacles

I believe that you are seeking new love interest because you are feeling like it's time for you to "get back out there", so to speak.
