you may be jumping to conclusions assuming a wants something from you but i still believe with the first card good news is coming your way

I would be really surprised if we reconciled. I think you may be right about me picking it apart, but I'm not sure. I definitely was anxious through a lot of the relationship and was unsure of where he was at. I also don't think he has the ability to try and reconcile with me. Maybe we will be friends?

As I mentioned in the title - I'm still learning. I feel pretty confident that I pull the right cards - but sometimes the interpretations may need some work

Yep, totally get it. It could be someone new, or a reconciliation. Either way, I think I need to keep my heart open to many options.

DO you mind me saying I would read these cards completely differently though? (But then this is you meant, right, as you're learning about interps?)

So anyway, the Knight of Cups is a good card inasmuch as it represents a young man with either romantic intentions (no indication on this occasion they exist) or at least someone who is good at courting, good with words. Sometimes they say without some nice pents next to him he's flakey.

As for Judgment, this means rebirth or some kind of wake-up call, turning point. Ari and others told me a few months ago he wants me to help him deal with his personality disorders, self-destructing lifestyle etc.

Anyway this is a screwed up situation, since I feel no romantic love for him at this moment, but feel as if it was my business to help him should he seek me.

But I don't mind good news either, if truth be told, who does?

and if no one minds re: this one. 9 wands is unwillingness to communicate, isn't it? shall i say there's joy IN locking oneself up or blocking certain influences? 3 cups could be advice to surround oneself with people who are happy and who care about the Querent. Or even these people's company and the shared moments of affection and good times will prove the Querent right in the decision to shut the guy out.

Topic crashing here, but I think Peach did a good job. The only thing I saw is a lot of times the 3 of Cups can mean "3's a crowd." In relationship spreads, I've found it often means a love triangle or infidelity. It can also mean being 2nd best or being put behind work/responsibilty/etc. With the 9 of Wands, I would take it to mean hurt feelings and anger as a result of something along those lines. However, the 9 has always struck me as a little more self-pitying than say... The 3 of Swords or 5/7 of Swords. I would read that as the querent's partner flirted or did something not "as" bad. Like perception being worse than reality, but it is tough with that, because morality (especially fidelity and monogamy) are subjective. But I would definitely say someone was feeling like a 3rd wheel/used, and they were none too pleased (and hurt.)

Also, the Wands suit is passion/energy/movement. I would read too a great deal of stressful restlessness (given it ties in with emotions/cups.) Lots of fidgeting irritation. Not a fun time to say the least D:
