I'm a Taurus, Virgo asc. He is a Virgo, possibly Sag asc. We met two weeks ago and I am now CONSUMED with him. I realized, quite clearly (and quite unlike any experience ever in my 43 years of life...) as we sat and talked over Starbucks, our second date. We share very similar goals, plans, interests and social advocacy loves; very different backgrounds, histories, etc...and we talk about anything and everything with complete candor and comfort. The moment I realized just how intense this connection was, I was talking away, telling some story or other, when I looked directly into his eyes and was struck dumb. Later, as we hugged and kissed goodnight, I felt it pass between us, through the hug. The kiss was, of course, great; the hug was what communicated the feeling though...and it wasn't sexual in nature (although that element was certainly there - as a Taurus, it's very easy for me to identify that one)I'm not generally one to date exclusively unless I'm in a relationship, in which case I am completely committed. I'm also not one to jump into a relationship precipitously. But I cannot escape the deep, gut feeling - virtually from the instant I began to really know this man - that he is "the one". As Virgos do, he got wrapped up in some business affairs and had to cancel a date he made with me at the last minute, two days before departing for Zurich for ten days. I told him I was disappointed, but could make other plans (with my sister - nothing weird or manipulative). The day before he left (the day following), I texted him, telling him that I was going to give him the space to set the pace because he is still recovering from a very bitter break-up over a year ago and she won't seem to just go away; that I sincerely hoped I would hear from him again; that I really liked him a lot; but that I got the sense there were things he needed to put to rest before we could start anything - which is what I want, and I certainly get the impression he wants the same from me. His response was, "Okay. I understand and you are so utterly amazing. I want to maintain a relationship with you, I just need a little time. I'm still shell-shocked after thinking I was over this long ago, so thank you. You're the best of humanity. I fully intend to communicate with you regardless of where I am. Happy New Year sweetheart"...and that was the last I heard from him. What is going on? What do I need to do at this point? I don't want to lose this and I'm afraid. Please, please any perspective at all would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks so much in advance. ------------------

Wow that sounded amazing! Maybe he still needs some time before being fully ready? I'd say let him have some time, if he is really into you then he will contact you later.Maybe someone else can offer you a tarot or psychic reading here.  Good luck! IP: Logged |

It sounds like a very cute begining However I'm a little confused. What is that you need help with or are anxious about? Is it that he's out of town? That his ex may still be involved in his life? Or that you haven't heard from him in a few days? My advice would be to have faith in what you felt. And faith that things will work out as they are meant to. It willprobably just take time to figure out where the two of you stand and what you mean to each other, but the answer will come! It ddoesn't hurt either to send a friend ly hello IP: Logged |

Thank you eyes_like_pisces. I think it's mainly that I haven't heard from him in a few days. Rationally, I understand he's seven hours ahead of me, on a much-needed spiritual walkabout of sorts; but emotionally I'm a freaking WRECK and that's so not like me - wondering if I've crossed his mind, wondering if he's completely forgotten about me, etc... I'm normally a healthy woman of such clear-cut boundaries, so this is foreign to me.IP: Logged |

I pulled a few cards for you So the impression that I am getting is that you both feel equally swept away by each other. He wants to really be able to offer himself completely when he enters a commitment of any sort. As your meeting each other was not planned, at least for his Virgo soul, he is in a tizzy. Your meeting with him also coincided , ironically, with a message from his ex. The universe is throwing a curveball here. I do see that he's been throwing himself into work, therefore has not realized the extent of the damage of his last break up until he met you. He is working on being a man, and being in the right space to connect with you. I do see him coming back. I give it about six weeks until you really have a better idea as to what is going on. Like the above poster mentioned, if you don't hear from him, you can always send a quick hello.

Enlightened: WWOW... he heard from a close friend - literally on his way, coming to meet me for the first time - that his ex had taken a job at a restaurant owned by another close friend. He told me that he almost cancelled our date that night, because the timing was horrible (he hadn't heard from her in months before then, but she seems to have a bit of a borderline personality - I'm familiar and they are hell on earth...), but he was afraid I'd think he didn't want to meet me. I don't know if this will help, but a year ago I started seeing my now boyfriend. Things progressed much slower than I was used to. I was a nervous wreck too, despite having this sense that he was just "right" for me. So I could relate quite well to what your going through. I kept letting my head get in the way of what I felt. As time went by I learned to trust that feeling more and more, and it wasn't wrong.Enlightened gave a great reading! I don't even know him or have seen the reading myself but something tells me spot on! Good luck getting through this waiting period. I know you'll make it! So I think I may have just lost him. He just texted me, home yesterday from Zurich. He leaves tomorrow for Miami for a couple of months. It's freezing with freezing rain and snow coming down and he wanted me to travel to his house, about 40 minutes away, so that he could see me before he departs at noon tomorrow. I told him no, I'd love to see him but I don't think it's safe...and now he's not talking to me. Geez....*sigh*IP: Logged |

Hahaha! Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing (and told him so)!! Turned out was a miscommunication - spent the day with him today. Had a great time. And I believe you are DEAD-ON with your reading the other day, Enlightenment.
