Hey allSo found out this morning that my grandma died on 27 December 2013. Am so sad, she is my estranged dad's mum and I have not seen her in a long time but my sister and I were mentioned at her funeral. I felt such grief when I heard the news..and scared...life is short. Hi SparklingSag, I have also lost my grandma last year, it was unreal when I've heard the news on the phone... Thought at least I have seen her in the hospital for one last time, before she was gone.
It felt unreal to see her being buried, and she was there at the funeral, so cold and still.But this is part of life, and we should focus on the fact that she have lived and influenced us. She was suffering in her last weeks of life so it was better.
Also, it was coz she existed that I am the way I am now. I have inherited some things from her, not materialistically but in a sense that she influenced my becoming. And if one believes in reincarnation, thought it is sad to know that our relationship in this lifetime, the things we had already ended, it is not the end of all and her soul is going to another new journey. We are all part of this world, part of the all. IP: Logged |
