My chart if very difficult. I don't see many positives for my life. I feel any good fortune is now in the past. I have been suffering personally for many, many years and it just won't let up. Can someone help me see the light?

How do I post my chart on here?

Hi, you can post your birth chart here for a reading.

Go to astro.com and make a chart there, then save the picture of the chart in a free image hosting website, like tinypic or imageshack. Then post the image of the chart in the following way:

Hi, you have 5 planets in Libra, with Mercury at the end of Virgo conjunct Sun/Moon. Basically, a train of planets. I would not doubt it if you said that your more recent years and in the present you are having a hard time, since Saturn has been transiting in Libra in the past years (now at Scorpio); while Pluto and Uranus transits are being hard on cardinal signs (Libra being one of them). I have an Aries stellium myself, and they have been mean to me as well, although not too hardcore.
Saturn is the strict teacher that restricts and limits, yet demands us to put effort on improvement through hardships. It has been onto your Libra stellium for a few years, which was not easy cake.
Then Uranus and Pluto are also hardcore teachers, as they force us to change and break free from what is bad for us, without much mercy. If you have inner issues that can make you feel uncomfortable, they'd bring them out and tell you to make some changes, or you'd continue feeling bad 'till you break free and change for better.

Now as to your natal chart... you have a lot of planets in your 8th house, and that is not easy. Water houses are never really easy, and the 8th house brings us into contact deeper things, even from the unconscious. 8th house requires us to learn about darker and deeper things, like what it means to have deeper intimacy with someone (which means showing our uglier sides too and becoming more vulnerable towards each other, and being responsible for the power each of us gain from the other person allowing us to have over them), the darker sides of people including their flaws and inner issues; your own inner issues and fears, what you have a hard time letting go; control and power issues and dynamics; what inheritance (not just material but also the spirit and other influences) means; and so on.
It is said that people with packed 8th house usually had things he/she couldn't let go in their past lives, that the memory of it and the pain can be strong and overflowing.
Thought you have Jupiter trine Moon/Mercury/Sun, you have a general optimism that can help you feel better and keep a happier outlook.
Also, you have Saturn in the 7th house. This can show that relationship with others might not always be easy. It might sometimes feel like there is a limitation with relationships, that you find it hard to relate with others at times. You might be hesitant to form relationships with others, and prefer people who takes relationships seriously. A mature partner can be ideal for you.

Uranus is your AC's ruler, and it is in Scorpio, conjunct North Node in the 9th house. There is a strong focus on your life lessons here. Your life lessons are related to Scorpio, which are related to the 8th house, giving emphasis to those themes in my previous paragraphs. In the 9th house it can be related to beliefs and spiritualism, higher education and other cultures. What are your beliefs, what do you believe? Here the 9th house leads you to face your own beliefs and spirituality, and reach a higher level of awareness, so that you can reach the lessons of Scorpio North Node (meaning of deeper intimacy, darkness and unconscious issues, power dynamics and so on). While the 3rd house is about receiving different information to expand our minds, 9th house, its opposite, is about higher awareness and knowledge. (It's interesting as I have North Node in my 9th house but in Taurus, the opposite or Scorpio lol)
This is not an easy path, with such strong Scorpionic and 8th house theme. You have to read more about the 8th house and Scorpio's theme; it might be hard to find relevant material online, since more than often the descriptions are too generic (sex, power, inheritance, other people's values, and so on), without touching deeper meanings, but you need to find out what you can really relate in order to understand what your own 8th house/Scorpio theme is.

Lastly, your MC ruler is Pluto, that is in the 8th house trine Neptune from 10th house and Saturn from the 7th house. And 6th house ruler is Moon, which is in the 8th house as well, conjunct Sun/Mercury and trine Jupiter.
Can you relate to a career related to psychology and helping others?

Thanks you! Yes, things have been very difficult for some time and I just don't see when things will get better. I have thought about a career in social work or teaching. I am in the process of making a career change and don't know which to choose. I do like social work but since I am already dealing with a lot of 8th house issues myself, would I become overwhelmed when helping others deal with these same issues?

Is there anything in my chart that shows when things will get better for me? I feel so overwhelmed with all the negative aspects in my chart because they are SO bad. Saturn in the 7th really destroys my life. I'm a Libra and want a harmonious love life and want to get along with everyone, yet Saturn causes problems. I deal with a lot of heavy, dark issues in my life and feel like the is no light. Neptune is in the 10th and that causes problems with my career. No planets in the 5th. This points to me not having any real joy in life from any area. Is there any hope?

Sometimes helping people also helps us to sort out some stuffs, since it's easier to see through problems through an outsider's perspective, and then it can also teach us something about ourselves. I'm also not sure if it would be too overwhelming, thought on the other hand, each success case would add more hope and optimism, right?

Career changes are hard to decide, there are a lot to ponder, I feel you! I also am considering career change right now, but I'm lost myself. But I'll advise you to talk to people who worked on the fields you are interested in, either in person or online communities like forums. If you can try to work for a month or so it would be nice too.
Also, you can do he test at sokanu.com, as it has extensive questions to help you assess your ideal job.
Also, sometimes there is a difference between reality and idealization, so that a field is desireable for us or not also depends on where we work. For example, I'm an IT developer, and in the country where I am sucks. I might be disliking my career now coz here in my country the field sucks, not necessarily coz I don't like what I do.

As for your chart, you are around age 37, so in your progressed chart you might have Sun square Moon, a crescent Moon configuration (Moon ahead of Sun forming square is crescent Moon, opposition is full Moon, the other side of square is wanning Moon, and Sun/Moon conjunction is new Moon). Crescent Moon can show emotional issues and fears surfacing up, and it can be a hard time to deal with. Thought when it reaches full Moon, you can have more clarity and able to see through your own inner issues and insecurities with more clarity. It might take less than 7 years (Moon takes 28 days to run a full 360º cycle, so progressed Moon takes 28 years to move a full cycle).

There will be times that things will get better, as transits are only temporary and there are good and bad transits. Nothing is ever static. Pluto might be squaring your Libra stellium right now, but it will trine it when it goes to Aquarius.

Also, remember that hard lessons are not to bring us down. It might be very hard, like that Saturn on the 7th. But when we overcome its lessons, bit by bit, we earn wisdom and knowledge bit by bit.
Where Saturn sits, it limits and restricts, makes it harder for us. But there is much wisdom and knowledge, as well as discipline to be learned, and when we do we become wiser in that area.

I have Saturn sitting on my 3rd house, conjunct IC, and square AC, and it has been very hard for me to overcome communication issues and mental negativity (Pluto is also in the 3rd house). But I feel that I have a strong wisdom and maturity when it comes to mind and communication, specially compared to many people. I am more aware of communication dynamics.
So maybe Saturn on your 7th might make relationships harder for you, but you might gain more awareness and wisdom of what relationships are, that you wouldn't thoughtlessly jump into any relationship without worrying of the consequences for example.

Also, Saturn is not just an old grumpy man, he is the old wise man that knows responsibility and structure too.

Is there anything in my chart that would indicate people expect me to do the right thing/act a certain way while they feel they can do what they want? I feel that people expect a lot out of me but I don't see other people very concerned about what they do or say.

What does it mean for me when Pluto trines my stellium?

fauxcoat, right now, transit Pluto is in Capricorn, which is a square sign of Libra, so since you have a Libra stellium, your stellium has been forming squares with transit Pluto, depending on the degrees of transit Pluto and each of your planets' position.

So when transit Pluto moves to Aquarius, the next sign, it will start forming trines with your stellium. While square is a conflict aspect, trine is an harmonious aspect, that energies can work together harmoniously.

Also, right now Pluto is entering your 12th house, that it is not easy, you'll probably face your inner issues more intensively.

When Pluto reaches your 1st house, and trine your Libra stellium, it might be a time that empowers you. You might still have to face things about your self (1st house = house of self), but Pluto trine your stellium will give you power to go through things.
I have Aries stellium, and when transit Pluto trined my stellium in the 8th house (when it was in the Sagittarius sign), while transiting on my 4th house, I've had some emotionally intense and painful moments related to family, but at the same time I was empowered by Pluto and discovered a lot about myself. It was also a time that I went through transformation and discovere my deeper self in a positive way.
Now Pluto is square my stellium so it's not easy cake lol, but hopefully it will pass and I'll learn something from it. These are the moments when we are demanded to face our own sides we are not comfortable with, it might be harder for those who haven't been doing so during nicer transits, and easier for those who has always been improving themselves, but in any cases it's a time to face things and overcome them. And every time we over come things, it would get easier.

Transits are always on the go, so nothing is ever static, good and bad moments will both come and pass, and often we might get a mix of good and bad moments.

I just found out that Pluto will be transiting my 12th house until 2027!!! How can I deal with that? This transit requires a lot of alone time...will I want to be alone until I am 50? Is there anything else about my chart that will help balance out this transit? Anything positive that can help me?

You just made me realize that I'll be getting the transit Pluto square on my Aries stellium for that long lolol.

But it doesn't have to be about isolation, even thought it certainly makes inner issues and insecurities surface. It is not easy at first, but by each time you make small conquers and victories, each time will become easier. The key is to accept and not repress or ignore your own issues, for they can become more apparent and uncomfortable by each time you do so, but to accept them as part of yourself and learn from them.

Well right now my stellium in Aries is given a hard time by transit Uranus and Pluto too, and certainly it's not easy, but it's not all that bad and I've been more in touch with my inner again, even if it's uncomfortable. You are not alone and it's always darkest before dawn.

So I suggest you to read a lot about 8th house, and Pluto transits, in order to gain more awareness and acceptance, so that you can understand and see how you can face it. Also, Lindaland or astro.com forums are great places to share experiences, and by sharing experiences we can understand what we are going through better.

This might be a time for introspection, you might retreat more often, but it doesn't mean that you'll be isolated from the world, or even not able to meet anyone meanwhile. Well if I remember correctly, I have met my husband unexpectedly, during transit Saturn over my 12th house or AC. I did isolate more during that time, but I definitely did not cut off contact from the world lol.

Aries - I do thank you so much for your help. You are the only person who has been honest about what difficulties will be headed my way. I am sorry you are going through these difficulties too and your advice about how to handle it is invaluable. So - thank you! I know you said you had some difficulties with work but maybe you could consider doing this on this side (set up a website and do readings) because you are good and are very clear when you explain things. You make it easy to understand.

I have a few questions. Do you know exactly (month/year) when Pluto entered my 12th house? Also, is there anything in my chart that can help stabilize the 12th house pluto transit?

Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad that it has helped.
Yeah I've been a bit confused about my career choices now, and am currently not satisfied with my career choice. I wonder if I can be good at being some sort of counselor or guide for other people thought currently I'm pondering about web design (I'm a programmer), as it is a more creative field. Thought it can still require some people-oriented skill, as I probably need to understand other people's needs and their values in order to design a web site that satisfy these; also, it's important to be good at understanding users' needs in order to design a good interface.

As for Pluto transit, I suppose that it has begain transiting your 12th house around January 2013, I'm not 100% sure but I've checked in astro.com and it seems that Pluto reached 10º degrees Capricorn during that time.

Looking at your chart, you have most elements in Air and Fire, with only 4 elements (Uranus , North Node, Mercury and Chiron) in Earth and Water. While this can show that your internal energies are mostly at harmony with each other, it can also mean that certain transits can either become too nice or too hard. For example, transit Pluto being in Capricorn is compatible with only those 4 elements in Earth and Water in your chart, but it is incompatible and in conflict with the rest of the elements. That is why you might either go into crazy hard moments or great moments.
Thought of course, since there are transits of different planets and not just Pluto, this can be balanced. For example, right now transit Sun, Moon, Mercury and Mars are in Air signs, which can help you feel better and more positive.
Transit Jupiter is in Cancer right now, it is square Libra but Jupiter can still bring up optimism. Thought right now it's retrograde, so when it goes direct it can be better. Jupiter tends to bring luck on the house it transits over, and it is now going through your 6th house, so you might have more luck in your daily life and job when it gets direct and not retrograde again.
Transit Saturn is reaching your MC soon, and then going to Sagittarius. I wouldn't be surprised that you had a hard time a few months ago, since it formed a square to your AC and then your Saturn; when it conjuncts your MC you might feel some delays or restrictions over your career choices, but when it enters Sagittarius, things will get better as it is compatible with most of your chart elements.
Also, when transit Jupiter enters your 7th house, it can bring more optimism in your relationships and you might enjoy more spending time with others.

Lastly, Pluto might be hard to deal with, but for us who have 8th house stelliums, plus you have Scorpio North Node and Uranus, we are more in tune with Plutonian themes that we have more natural affinity to deal with Pluto issues. Also, you have a grand trine with your AC, Jupiter and Sun/Moon, while the rest of the Libra elements are also in harmony with them, that this is a gift that you can use to overcome things. Jupiter offers hope and optimism, Aqua can be laid back and find inspiration (its ruler is Uranus after all, the planet of inspiration ), and Libra is a sweet sign that can see things from many perspectives. These 2 signs, along with Gemini are intellectual and intelligent signs, and so reading and learning more can be a very helpful thing to do, in order to help you understand and overcome the obstacles you come to face.

Words can not describe how grateful I am to you. Before, I could feel something was wrong but couldn't figure what it was. I felt like I was locked in a dark room and couldn't see the light. I have gone to other astrology sites asking for help with my chart and some helped to some degree but I still felt I was not getting the full picture. One site actually told me to go see a therapist and they refused to tell me about my chart. I am the type of person who needs to know what is going on and the fact that some people were refusing to tell me made my anxiety even more profound. I feel more at peace since you have told me what is going on. Even if it isn't the best of news I can now figure out what to do and how to handle it.

Are you on this message board a lot? I would like to offer to pay you if I need help with my chart in the future. I could send you money via pay pal.

I don't think anyone could spend more time than AriesLilith in trying to help, so I'm not going to give you my chart interpretation.

Just know that your chart is not as difficult as you think it is. It is imperative that you see value in yourself, and that will come from seeing value in others first. According to your prenatal solar eclipse, you came here with advanced consciousness. Read up on the prenatal eclipses for a better understanding. I think it will help. YOu are very powerful and can create great things.

@Pluto-Aries has been really wonderful. An angel.

I don't feel powerful at all. Since Pluto entered my 12th house I have felt almost paralyzed with fear. I can't get my confidence back - not that I am even that confident to begin with.

Surviving Pluto!?!....hmmmm...why does that resonate with me? ha!

One thing about Pluto is that when it tears you apart, it always rebuilds, so you just have to allow it to do it's transformational job, without a struggle. It's kind of like quicksand - when you fight it you get sucked in deeper.

It is just strange because I feel like I have been dealing with the "pluto in 12th house" issues for longer than this transit. Maybe pluto in 11th knocked me out. I lost my older brother during pluto 11th and really retreated into myself because of it. I lost friends, had many health problems, difficulty with relationships, etc. So the thought of spending more isolated time until I am 50 is kind of unnerving. I have been dealing with this stuff since I have been 22 or 23. When pluto went into 12, I lost my job and have a really bad relationship with my parents and brother. I feel lost and now I am retreating into myself even more if that is even possible. Part of me feels a little stronger now that I know what I am dealing with but it is overwhelming. I hope good things finally happen in my life to offset the pluto in 12.

When you say you are a pluto survivor, what does that mean?

fauxcoat, I'm glad that I can help as I still have a lot to learn, that it's good if what I know can also help others.

I'm on Lindaland every now and then, I've started to read other people's chart recently as I wanted to help others just as I was once helped. I was also a newbie once, and I was glad that there were great astrologers who shared what they know with us for free. That is also why I want to help others, as this knowledge in astrology can be a light in the darkness and help us all evolve. I'm certainly not a pro, but I just feel that we are all part of this world that it's great when we can share what we know and help.

That is also why you don't need to pay me, I share for free what I have learned for free. I still have a job that can sustain me anyways, so no need to charge.

As a fellow 8th houser (Aries Sun/Moon/Mercury/Venus in the 8th house lol), I can empathize with wanting to know everything, what's going on. To be honest, I have thought about going to a shrink to get professional help in order to sort out some inner issues, thought I would need someone who can really help me understand and dig, not the kind of just being a listener. And then it would also be a bit expensive, while astrology is free lol.

You have many Air elements in you, so your need to understand things in a logical way is stronger. So reading from different perspectives, as well as reading different articles can help you gain better perspectives over what is happening.

What PlutoSurvivor (nice name ) said is so true:

quote:
One thing about Pluto is that when it tears you apart, it always rebuilds, so you just have to allow it to do it's transformational job, without a struggle. It's kind of like quicksand - when you fight it you get sucked in deeper.

This is actually what I've been feeling too, with the transit Pluto square on my Aries stellium. The more I try to take control and fight it, the worst it might get, while learning to accept and let go of control makes it easier.
Letting go of control is not simply letting things overwhelm us, but rather accept the challenges, accept to take a look at our inner selves. I've been facing my own uglier and darker sides, and it has been uncomfortable, but I try not to look away nor ignore it, I gather strength to look at my inner self, to figure things out, to ultimately transform myself.
