Based on these cards, it seems like a positive move, and that if and when you decide to leave, you may feel a weight being lifted off your shoulders and/or excitement over what new things may await and become a renewed, confident person. Hope this helped.

Dear arcturiann,
Thank you very much. I have been wanting to leave for a long time. But my friends and family tell me to suck it up and quit complaining, at least I have a job and have money etc. They don't realise how unhappy my job makes me feel. I get anxiety & I cry sometimes coming home from work because I hate working in customer service. I feel like just because you get paid, it doesn't mean people have the right to be disrespectful towards you & treat you like sh*t.

This is a bit specific and I will do my best based off of what the cards show.

6 of wands
-This card is about receiving acclaim, being acknowledged, receiving praise, applause or recognition. Right off the bat this says to me at least one of the members of your family will be very happy for you.

8 of wands
-This is about quick action, this card says now is the time to declare yourself, it is about having a meaningful conversation, experiencing a "grand finale" so to speak and putting plans into action. This tells me that it is a good time to tell your loved ones about this new situation.

5 of Pentacles
-This card is a bit more unfortunate than the other two, the feeling from the card is of being rejected, having the door slammed in your face, standing alone, and receiving disapproval... I think perhaps one of your loved ones, maybe your partner in this case may react more negatively or less supportive than the persons described in the first card.. maybe they might feel as though you are rejecting them or leaving them out in the cold?

He might be feeling regret over his decision to blow you off, maybe he even feels embarrassed or ashamed and might not know how to explain himself so he just gave up, I think the reason for his doing so was in that he felt overwhelmed or maybe just wanted to be alone but as time passed began feeling regretful. 5 of cups is a bit bittersweet as it gives the feeling that perhaps he is a bit lonely right now and regrets blowing you off.

It definitely feels like quitting will be a good idea then, I got a sense from the reading that you will feel very rejuvenated, excited and new after freeing yourself from that job. I used to say to myself that If the job makes me feel so horrible that it gets to the point that I feel like I will pay the money I earned just to not have to go to work, that it is time to quit. Especially when you have class, it is not worth it to compromise your education and be so stressed out that you waste your tuition money by not being able to focus on school. There will always be opportunities for other jobs when you'd feel ready

I have drawn the 10 of swords for myself before, it felt to me like a situation where all the worst things that could have happened, had happened, and so I put my hands up and said f**k it, nothing worse can happen to me after that LOL, and decided to finally have some fun.
