I got this the first time also and I hope it makes sense
The person you will marry will be someone you have a trying relationship with. Your relationship will be a trying road, but a strong connection. I got 7s everywhere which for me is matters of the mind- assessment, dreams, opinion and conspiracy. It will be a hard decision, but this person will be able to provide for you or contribute to you financially after some work. But the sun is at the end. It's almost like a rare case of marriage making a difficult relationship better and I got this twice.
Don't be surprised if someone proposed and you didn't think they don't want it because they might.

D thinks things could be more like the past- 3 of cups. There's no real drive there right now with the fool crowning, but the 8 of wands is basing which is fast movement or more likely passion. That means to me that they're moving faster than they can see. The near future with D is the 4 of swords which is rest and pause. 6 of swords is final outcome. This person thinks they can win you. There is some off and on for a bit, but not too long. There is interest, but lack of means to get things going. Like not knowing what to say or how to go about it. There is interest there, but it feels new and not quite blossomed yet to be considered a sure thing.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understood the first reading well. Do you mean that I'll marry someone I have a rocky relationship with? Or more that the relationship will have obstacles in our way?
Also - you mean that I'm going to take his proposal as something he's doing out of obligation, is that? I don't think I'd marry a guy if I thought he was being pressured... I'm too romantic for that.

Maybe he thinks this could be like his past relationships? We don't really have a past together - we met 2 months ago. And everything makes sense, btw. I sense his interest and his hesitation. Like he expects me to clue him in that his approach will be welcomed. (Guys and their ego, right?)

This "past" is definitely with you. Like the initial sparks, I mean, in contrast with the current distance. He had thought of you 2 together let me spread again. I'm home early today...

I got all these stagnation cards, but renewal in the outcome. He feels like he can't move, but he should. He also feels fear of rejection. I spread yet again to see if he will approach. I got lots of cups and Wheel of Fortune outcome which is taking risk.

Okay, then. I see what you mean with him "thinking things could be more like the past". It makes sense now, thanks for clarifying, LP.

I'm not a traditional romantic, but I only approach guys when I know their answer (even when they're nos). I'll probably try to get to know D a little bit better before I hit on him. LOL
