Hi dear, how are you?

Long story short, I'm 90% positive my new crush was going to ask me out today. He wanted me to recommend him a movie, as he was going to the theater later today. Of course, me being me, put my foot in my mouth and said I was sorry I couldn't help him because I'm currently studying for these exams I'm going to have and I'm not keeping up with any of the movies in theater. Up until I said that, I thought nothing about him asking me for a movie rec, but the moment I said I didn't know, he DEFLATED. Seriously went from :-) to :-/. I can't explain, lol.

So, I don't know. I seriously got the impression he was going to ask me out. Do you agree? Or was/am I reading him and the situation wrong and he just genuinely wanted only a movie recommendation? I felt he wanted to ask me out and was about to ask me out, until I messed up.

Anyways, you said you'd like me to keep you updated so... lol, what do you think, dear?

Hi filleaspirant,

I mentioned you keeping me updated of your situation for you. Not for me... lol. I was being nice and offering to you, in case you needed further help. Naturally I said it the way I did because well, it's your siutaiton to share w/whom you want to share with and ask of who you want to ask of. And naturally I'm always happy to see someone find love and happiness. So, not to sound rude, but my offer was for your benefit, not mine... lol... I'm not getting anything out of your situation... lol. But I'll be happy to help if you need and I can.

You are right. He was going to ask you out. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't realize. That's happened to me too, long ago... I can empathize. It's an awful feeling to have afterwards, isn't it? My hearts w/you. As I see, Twitterbird05 has a suggestion for you.. and there are many ways to mend it. What you did, isn't a dealbreaker I feel. I feel there are more opportunities upcoming. I feel it'll take a little time for him to muster up the courage to ask again, but he will. No coubt he will! Naturally you can speed that up by doing something about it. I hope that what twitterbird05 suggests will work for you. You'll be going out with him, I feel it.

Hope you're doing well otherwise.

Love and Light!

Just emailed you, lol. Excuse the grammar and whatever other errors there are in that message - I'm still reeling from what happened.

Hi Crimson,

Hey, I don't mind much sharing a bit about what happened because 1) I'm still kind of "did he really try to ask me out?" and 2) I need confirmation that I am not dreaming up his intentions.

Oh, and thank you so much for making yourself available to help me. I hope I can repay your kindness one day.

YAY, good to hear that you see us going out. I sure hope that comes to pass, and TwitterBird IS helping me. She's a sweetheart for just putting up with my nonsense, lol.

I'll let you know if I need another insight into this matter in the future. Thank you so much, once again, for being so sweet.

Hi again,

I know what you mean... missing an opportunity in such a way can throw you off.

Please be assured that you DID NOT dream it up... that yes, he was going to ask you out. Just like you're not dreaming up his interest in you. It's genuine.

And sure, sweetie. Whenever I can, I'll help you.

No problem in return... there's nothing right now you can tell me about... you've already been kind and did a reading for me, which I appreciate. Thank you.

Glad TwitterBird is helping. Romantic situations can really affect a person, it's not nonsense

To asnwer you... I can't tell you if you need another insight into this matter or not... that's something you have to decide... if you need insight or not.

So you're welcome... and thank you and I hope you get to go out with him soon.

Love and Light
