Would you be kind enough to give me any insight as to whether this is a relationship worth pursuing or not at this time? There seems to be a strong connection between us - but not sure I should pursue it as a romantic relationship. I would greatly appreciate it.

the composite isn't bad, but the synastry isn't good. this would be a fairly unfulfilling partnership for both people, especially the female. the male is going to be fairly 'deadbeat' in comparison to her, moody, brooding, and just not go after things the way she would (she'd be the more aggressive of the two). the guy is fairly sensitive despite the outgoing ASC. but i just don't see it working romantically. the composite places a lot of planets in the 10th, so maybe you can benefit career-wise/educationally from the person. you didn't post a proper synastry chart so maybe house placements/overlays would help things out.

Sorry about that, I think I have the correct chart for synastry posted now. Do the house overlays help this at all?
Thank you!

*bump*
Now that I think I have the right synastry chart posted - can someone tell me if the house placements/overlays give any hope to this as a romantic relationship.

Thank you in advance for your time and effort!

I see that you would benefit more from him in a business relationship. His sun is in your second house, meaning he could help improve your personal finances. But his Saturn in your eighth house could mean that your shared possessions with him might not be so great, so I advice that you be wary in sharing any of your finances with him. Your Saturn in his sixth and Jupiter in his tenth house indicates that you will be able to help him with work and boost his social status. You do have your sun and mercury in his seventh house, he could be attracted to you physically and mentally. He has his venus in your twelfth house and most of the time, it indicates unrequited love. He could secretly like you but he may not show it because of a number of circumstances. It could be because being with you will stand in the way of his morals or maybe he doesn't want to ruin your friendship with him. You may not realize how much you mean to him because of this. After all, the twelfth house is the house of confusion (or at least that's what I think). Venus is in his 8th house, which means he is intensely drawn to you--sexually and emotionally. You also bring creative ways to improve your shared finances together.

That's all I got for you. Hope it helps

Thank you! The part about unrequited love actually explains our interactions. We seem to have a really intense unspoken connection; yet, despite my subtle attempts to turn this in to something more - I am getting nowhere.

if you have his TOB accurate then the house overlays do help some. you have your venus falling into his 8th, which generally allows someone to see you as a sexual partner, or someone they can share secrets with, and your sun and mercury fall into his 7th house, so you'd have qualities he'd like. his placements are doing more to stir your interest though; his moon hits your 5th, so you'd want to date/attract him, and you have his venus and mars (and node) in your 12th. the 12th house is tricky, because the house person (you, in this case) will be obsessing over this person (dreams, thoughts, etc.) and they might not share that same enthusiasm; it might actually make them uncomfortable how well you know them, or try to know them. the overlays would make it appear that there'd be some interest on both sides, but overall you're not dealing with a 'good fit' romantically and that might be why you can't get it going? his placements are really shy and he might appear to like a more outgoing woman but he'd probably be drawn to someone more quiet, home-bodied and less outgoing, in general. it looks great for career help or working on projects together though.
