LostTaurus, you've so kindly read for me couple of wks ago about a written test I had for a position. May I ask you if you still feel the same about it or whether energies have changed?

Hi Sandy! I pulled 3 cards, ALL encouraging you to seek advice from someone within your life - elders, in fact. 4/D, Q/C and K/H.

Have you contacted the company for whom you took the written analysis? Gotten any feedback? I'm sensing that you've adopted more of a "sit and wait" approach than they are accustomed to, and that you may be dropping off their radar as a result. Just an email or quick call to let them know you're still interested might go a long way. If, by chance, they've filled the position, a humble query into how you can better perform to meet their standards may leave an impression for the future. While I can't really say if the position has been appointed, I can say that I don't feel you're completely "off the radar" for them; just that they hope to see more strength, growth, self-confidence as opposed to pride from you (there's a difference, after all; and I'm not clear on why they're seeing one as opposed to the other). I hope this doesn't sound negative, as that's not at all how it's intended, it's just what I'm seeing; and I hope it helps...if I can answer anything else, please let me know.

Hi LT,

Thks a million!

Actually, it is not really a 'sit and wait attitude' as they are to contact me should they want to take the selection process further. I totally get what you say, but it is not how they operate i.e asking for feedback etc.

I don't know whether you can see if they'll call me for an oral interview ? And if so, if I'll get the job? or maybe I should not fixate on this one.

I am trying to figure out who I should be getting advice from and on what. Maybe that will become clear soon.

Have you actually spoken with anyone at this company? Do you have any contacts there? That was what came to my mind, and what I'm inclined to believe the strongest message is: to contact someone at the company for status/advice/further direction. Having hired, developed and managed teams for major corporations before, I can tell you that (provided you've spoken with someone previously), a single follow-up call would not offend or compromise your chances in any way at all. Just my thoughts

No, haven't spoken to anyone there. All very procedural.

I'm afraid I'm at a loss then, my friend. I wish I could see more, but I don't. Best of luck...
