Well I finally got the job offer I was waiting for (thanks @Mincymouse, @DaniPepper and @poochycat for your readings! they were accurate!). But my trust has been dented from a previous layoff and I'm already paranoid about being laid off. Can I have a reading into a couple of questions relating to new job? Please be honest. And post your questions so I'll get to them today. I'll exchange with whomever replies to this thread today

-how will this new job fare in longevity (versus the old one where I was there for a year)
-how will people be like at my new job? I'm looking for open and communicative people and ones I can call my coworkers also as friends. It wasn't this way my last job.
-Will I be successful in the work itself at this new job? Will things go well?

Hi Cappy,
Nice to meet you. I am somewhat new to tarot as well. Lately, I have been sticking with the past, present, future, then a few extra cards for clarity. So perhaps up to 6 cards total. The more cards I pull, it tends to overwhelm me...at least for now. I also use intuition, so if I pick up anything that way, I will let you know

Please do what you are comfortable with. 10 cards is good if that is what you use routinely. I wish I could read for myself! I am always too close to the situation to have objective. I'm glad you guys are here lol.

Ahhhh the trick is not to allow your emotions and emotional energy to dictate your cards' answer. I have had my deck for a few years, my 1st cards are great hehe

You sound a bit apprehensive, no need to be. Here are the cards I pulled for you...

2 of pentacles, hermit, chariot

2 of pentacles is a positive omen in work related issues. It shows that you must keep balance though. Concentrate on your work foremost. You will make friends but don't try during working hours.
The hermit - another good omen! Recognition is well within your grasp with this job. Do your best to be productive and organized and it will pay off for you in dividends. Yes! you will be successful.
Chariot - There may be a person working against you whether they are aware of it or not. Don't worry about how other are going to perceive you as it will turn out positively in your favor.

Ohhhhhh boy this doesn't look good!!
all my cards are reversed and 2 popped.
so first card u have is reversed 9 of cups which shows the problems at work and trust misplaced. Followed by the reversed 8 of cups which shows your continuing efforts to make it work...
now the 3rd card is 7 of cups reversed which is good! shows u made a good choice with this new job! You are determined about it.
reversed 2 of cups in as the 4th card shows to me the past separation to your job and the struggles with colleagues and ppl u liked??
And recently in ur past job u felt unhappy and perhaps betrayed.
In reversed knight of staves: Be careful with harassment in your new job and jealousy! They would have an influence in the future!
At the moment you feel unstable in emotions, some resistance and maybe jealousy???
The environment looks shaky...reversed knight of staves..like something unexpected will happen, some sort of interruption and disputes.

for poochycat - I pulled 7 cards. 3 for you, 3 for MK, and an outcome card. The 3 cards each describe the situation as how you see each see it and each other.

The 3 cards for you - 8 of wands reversed, ace of cups reversed, and sun. Because 2 are reversed, it tells me you feel you have been making some mistakes, not learning a lesson and missing some details (8 of wands reversed), not attaining wealth (ace of cups reversed) relating to MK. And you feel you have missed some opportunities before with MK. But your view of MK is pretty respectful and wanting to get the best from it (the sun).

The 3 cards for MK - king of wands, hanged man reversed, and high priestess. for cappylove - I didn't use even use the cards as I was getting some strong visions on your question right away. I am picking up, you and your man have been together or have known each other for a while (a few years total I am hearing either way). It feels that the M word (marriage) is farther off in the distance but the relationship is coming into that energy field. I see you two sticking with each other though and in each others company. I don't see any real problems occuring or arguments, as I am getting a sense of peace between you two long term overall. Perhaps you can ask your guy if not already, what he feels about marriage. His answer may surprise you as I get he wants to commit but is not ready quite yet. It also feels in the energy between one of you, they are 'waiting' for something, perhaps a divine sign or something that says 'this is right person'. Or could be about affording the costs, he wants a small wedding and you want something big. But these differences can be worked out in time and patience.

We have been together a year (in a few days)and we are so comfortable together. I can be myself and childish is I feel like it and all he accepts me fully which in retrospect makes me love him even more and shower him with attention and love despite of the long distance
I have discussed marriage with him and you are correct I am waiting and he is not ready yet. But that is fine because I desire him to be mine forever so waiting a while wont change anything. I will be hopefully going down in September of 2015 to work (found myself a job or then) and move in with him! I am super excited!!
Btw let me know how your work goes

thanks for both your readings! cappylove, yes that is right on everything you said about my past job. i felt betrayed in the end. I am very afraid of getting bad news.

poochycat - you are right about just focusing on the job and work. and not being friends until after hours is good advice.

I don't know who this strifer is yet at new job lol. But at least I can be prepared & ready for them now.
