SO! I think you already know the answer, and my intuition is telling me that you will get the decision in your favor. But also because this was the I ching that I drew, I would advise you not to ask too much and to be patient. I.e. a little of the Temperance card can go along way.

Not to be too blunt, but it seems you have good/decent karma in general - make sure you let it works its magic, b/c if you get into the habit of questioning it, you might become your own worse enemy. Not sure why this is coming up, but its just telling you to savor the waiting or the patience part. That is, enjoy the ignorance, savor the chase. YES??

Hmm, the I ching I got is somewhat cryptic. I'd say that it is about balance.

So that is you should look for a job that is not too much of a reach, but also not go for a job that is frivolous. That is, if you were into government it would likely be not best to run for President tomorrow, start smaller with the Chamber of Commerce or something. On the other hand, you shouldn't waste time waiting tables because that doesn't serve you on your journey of your end goal. So that is the first part.

I think the second part, it being about family members is to reach out to your immediate network to ask for help. You know those people you can count on in your friend group, ask them for help, whether it be to put together a resume or to ask them to keep your eyes and ears open. Go to the people who know you best, but are also positive. Don't go to those who won't make you work hard, go to those who want to see you do your best and help you grow. A little advice and hard work can go a long way.

Well, first off, it seems that it might not be good to initiate if it makes you feel anxious. The initiating has to be when you are comfortable, not because someone tells you too.

Likewise, you need to initiate so you don't take a lower position - i.e. you need to dictate what it is what you want. Not others and not him. You need to figure out what that is first.
