*Hi all, I am in need of a card reading for this specific issue. please.*

Should I stay or go?
I’ve been working through a temp service for almost a year in May. The temp assignment was originally for me to work 3 months through an employee’s maternity leave but a few other projects came up and they wanted to keep me. My work schedule in the beginning was 4 days per week even down to 3 days….due to other projects I was asked to work full time. I was grateful and happy to do this as it was becoming winter and I needed the money to work on my business ventures.

I feel like I pretty much have come to run the front part of the office I temp for. Actually I took the place of the admin who was laid off half a year ago due to budget cuts. The two other ladies who work up front had been strapped before I started helping and were most times unable to take days off etc. so now it’s easier to navigate those types of things because they have me to cover.

In the past couple of months I had a few sick days and had to take time off to work on my business, well I guess it’s become an issue because no one is here to back up when the other two women have problems, issues or plans.

Something important to know I do not want to work a 9 to 5 in an office bldg.…. I would really like to work for myself and set something up for myself that gives me the freedom to not be restricted to a cube, bldg. whatever. It’s going on a year now and I need to work harder on my business ventures and it’s hard to do that working full time here. I need to re-evaluate.

Maybe it’s time to move on….so I cast a chart for a little insight. Would it suit me to move on?

Some things I’ve been thinking about are: it’s coming up on a year of temping here. When I don’t come to work I don’t get paid, I don’t have benefits, I get paid less than the perm position. I planned on trying to negotiate with them because there may be a chance for a perm position but I would need to work only part time. To me there needs to be more of a tradeoff for working temp more than a year.
Maybe this would be better for a card reading but I cast a horary chart anyway, I would be grateful for any help.
