Topic: Am I reading this right?

So I pulled up a horary chart and asked if and when will my mom change her mind about me going to the NYC trip my school is going to.  So I am Venus and she is Saturn. She resides in the 2nd house while I'm in the 5th. That makes sense since she's being real tight on money right now and the square between our significators show how she's stifling my enthusiasm for adventure because of money. The Moon is also square Saturn in a separating aspect. This shows how hopeless I feel right now. But the square between Venus and Saturn is applying by 2 degrees. Both planets are also in cardinal signs. Does this mean she is about to change her mind although she doesn't feel like it's the best thing to do? Is there still a way for me to make her change her mind? IP: Logged |

Hello,As far as i know trips are inclued in 3rd house(it is a short trip,no?) So jupiter is the lord, but it doesn't make any aspect with venus or saturn.
Jupiter conjunct with mercury-lord of the 9th and 12th house. Maybe if you talk to one of your teacher so he/she cluld convince your mother?
Saturn is now rx-your mother could "return" to a past action/oppinion, did she agreed or not in the first place?

It's actually a long-distance trip because it's out of my country. And yeah, my teacher already talked to my mom and he tried to help, but my mom is insistent and stubborn. She didn't like the idea of the trip in the first place, either.IP: Logged |

Sorry but the char does't look too good.
Venus in aqarius is peregrine- doen't have any power.
Saturn doen't make any good aspect with anyother planet, except kiron(doesn't count). All the best  IP: Logged |

Your mother is actually the Moon, ruler of the 10th house. As to how she views the trip now and whether she'll change her mind, I'd look at dignity/debility and reception from Moon to Mercury (ruler of 9th) and vice-versa.IP: Logged |

Moon is peregrine, she doesn't know what to do or say in regards to this trip.Mercury is in detriment and in fall, yucks. But hey, it's received by Moon by triplicity. Are you an only child? If not, how many older siblings do you have?
