Topic: Can Cards Lie?

So after getting some readings here, I've come to conclusion that the cards weren't interpreted correctly or gave false information. Has anyone ever experienced this?IP: Logged |

I think so. It's not that cards 'lie' it's just that with any sort of divination, nothing is set in stone. You can't always accurately predict the future, it always changes, free will comes into play. When it comes to reading myself, sometimes I wonder if my own 'energies'/hopes and desires affect the reading. Sometimes, the cards pulled are accurate, it's just the way that the reader interprets it, it might be wrong. I sometimes do a card of the day reading for myself, and would sometimes get a negative card but at the end of the day I don't have a bad day because I chose to live it positively. IP: Logged |

I had gotten some much needed verification regarding a situation with someone but after a day it seems my chances to fix things is gone... My cards don't even reflect the readings that gave me the information to begin with, they don't even tell me my own feelings accurately.

Cards are used as a reflection tool. They can help you see the truth or the current truth of the situation. Interpretation of them is personal, so of course not flawless. The more over you ask them the same question, the most likeliness they will show different info cause they showed you the answer already the first time. Or you aren't seeing the answer correct .
In the end it's about clearly seeing what's going on in your life & ideally taking responsibility for that. So in regards to the boy you keep asking on this means he has moved on. He will not return & he is with someone else.

Exactly what I was thinking Twril! Any sort of external divination like cards or runes is a medium for our own intuition. Essentially they help bring out what you already know, and if you keep asking the same question over and over (with little space apart) your mind gets overloaded and you lose clarity as Twirl said. It's quite confusing sometimes too, because when you ask about a person, the cards you are pulling is about what they're thinking or feeling at that time you were asking! The cards did not answer the question at all. Then when I got to talk to them regarding what they were thinking around that time I was pulling the cards, it matched the cards that I got.IP: Logged |

No, just that the messenger(s) interpreted the cards wrong -- that's all. Cards cannot be wrong and neither can the future. If you go to a psychic, or a reader in general, in my opinion the future that they see should be the very same future that unfolds for you, otherwise that person was wrong in their interpretation. We all make mistakes..but this is just my opinion and belief on the matter. Other people will always use the "free will" line... ------------------
