Hi LostTaurus,

Saw your post on protection, which for me has worked the best of all I've been given.

I have a person in mind to do a past life healing for me. His initials are DZ. Will he be able to help me or am I able through dreams or meditating to help myself?

Thank you,
Spring

Hi Spring, I hope all is well with you!

Some key questions to meditate on anytime you're considering looking outside your own sphere for spiritual aid:

Do I feel inside like I'm out of my depth in handling this myself?

- There's absolutely nothing wrong if the answer is yes; every single one of us stands to learn from other resources. Just be certain that the outside resources you choose are motivated by a genuine interest in YOU and YOUR SPIRITUAL CLARITY, not money. This particular subset of the world is RIFE with predators and charlatans in this respect. Pursuant to that, a few questions to help you determine where their interests lie:

Do I know this person well enough to trust them with any facet of my spiritual guidance?

- If the answer is yes, then absolutely: go for it!

- If the answer is no...

Has this person teased me with a bit of information only to then bring up exchange for any further, "more important" information?

- If the answer is yes, cut them out like the cancers they are.

- If the answer is no, don't be afraid to feel them out - ask the tough questions! Study their responses! If you're going to trust them with any aspect of your spiritual guidance and they're ethical, they'll respect your self-respect for and protection of such an IMPORTANT and fundamental part of who you are. All of our stories come out into the light in the things between the words we say in trying to express ourselves and our intent. Based on the responses you get, ask yourself (in your own time and independent of them)...

What does my gut/intuition tell me about this person? Their non-verbal response? The flow of their energies with mine?

- Your intuition is the tell every single time. You have to trust what it gives you in response - it's there and hard-wired specifically for YOU and YOUR protection.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with gifting someone who helps you evolve spiritually. It's a service just like (if not vastly more substantial than) any other. However, money should never ever be the bottom line between you and spiritual aid. If it is, there's a real problem.

I hope this helps. If any of this raises other questions, please let me know.

Thanks LostTaurus.

It does make sense and I guess what's hard is that people offer something and it seems to help in one way, but it doesn't last. i.e. like when you stop taking the herbs or they hypnotize you and it only lasts for so long. I think I have a bead on knowing the good ones from the bad, but now the challenge is knowing exactly what will really help me. Each person does things differently, too, and some are better at it than others.

I picked this up from Britannia's thread on her oracle readings. I've often wondered about my past life, too.

DZ and also a SS seem to be helpful and up front with you, but if you've never had one done, you don't know if they can help you in that way, too. DZ did a healing for me, no charge, and I wasn't present, but knew he had helped as I started feeling better not long after I sent him an email. SS hypnotized me, (another person that tried before couldn't, but they didn't charge me and they know SS) but all of it didn't last long, so I'm thinking that Britannia's card is right--something deeper or long long ago needs to be healed. My 5th house ruler (Mercury) is in the eighth near the ninth and is squaring my chart ruler (1st house and 12th house cusps)--Saturn in the 1st near the cusp. I know this is very karmic from what I've read and maybe where any negativity that I may still have comes from. Does that make sense?

Thank you again,
Spring

Sure, it makes total sense!

Ultimately, any kind of healing that is done comes from inside of you. Anyone outside of you who is able to help is only a guide, a facilitator - nothing more. I know that sounds incredibly daunting but we all possess the power within us, and that power within is tremendous - it's far more than we often give ourselves credit for. I know this because I am living, breathing proof of it, and I am nothing exceptional.

Until you are ready to face the things which hold you back dead-on, dig into them elbow-deep without fear, but with acknowledgment & accountability and (most importantly) with the sure knowledge of how vast that power within you is to take from them the lessons you should and expel the rest from your presence, anything anyone else does for you will be like dressing a bullet wound with a band-aid - it's a fix, but only a temporary one, and not really sufficient to stanch the bleeding at all.

I don't mean for a second to sound harsh, I promise. On the contrary, I hope you find these words encouraging - YOU hold the power, no one else.

Thank you for all the positive and uplifting encouragement LostTaurus.

I believe that we should all be able to help ourselves and through others, we often see how much we've grown as a person.

I will work more on the meditation and something I learned called EFT and see what happens. After I've tried all that I can, and I still don't see progress, then I will let someone help me.

Have a great day and thank you again!

Hi LostTaurus,

Thank you. I decided to start with what imeanj had for me first, which was to empty my head. Did that last night and had the best sleep ever. Will continue that until it's empty. Just the mere fact that I got such great results is really encouraging.

If you work with people in what you do, they are lucky to have you.

Have a great day!

FANTASTIC!! So GLAD to hear this Spring (and so proud to hear that you're taking it into the most powerful hands you know on this earth!). It's a process - doesn't happen overnight - but as long as the process provides progress, DON'T GIVE UP! And always know you have a cheering section right here when you need it, too.

Prayers, positive thoughts and healing vibes, R

Hi LostTaurus,

Hope you have decided to plan your next night out soon--don't lose the momentum.

Thank you for cheering me on. It's a good feeling to have that energy around me.

Two questions for you: Is it possible to cut the cord on an empathic connection? If so, what if one person keeps hanging on or bouncing back? I now just pick them up on emotional highs or lows.

Have a good day!
Spring
