I would love for someone to explain how grand cardinal cross is affecting my life? I have several cardinal placements - mostly in personal planets!

I will use tarot to answer a question (or a few questions ) in exchange

The two placements in your chart that are in tight Conjunction to parts of the Grand Cross are your Moon in Aries (Conjunct tUranus) and your Venus in Cancer (Conjunct tUranus). The former is Square tJupiter and tPluto and Opposite tMars. The latter is Square tUranus and tMars and Opposite tPluto. These are both of the femine and emotional pieces of your chart in incredibly tense positions. I'd say that you're probably going on an emotional ride right now. Your subconscious is being affected by an erratic entity, which may be giving you unexplainable mood swings as well as dreams. With Squares to tPluto and tMars, I'd say that these mood swings may be rather violent and aggressive and even dark and gruesome to an extent. The dreams you've been having lately are probably more nightmarish than anything. With an intercepted Aquarius/Leo axis, I'd say that you struggle with self-expression. Saturn and Uranus in the Eleventh House probably add to this. Your emotions, however, are very intense. You may be keeping these bottled in (Saturn) and then releasing them in sudden bursts (Uranus) or putting blame on yourself. With intercepted Sun and Mars, you probably don't have the best sense of identity, and if you do, it's after a long struggle. You're probably blaming yourself for a lot of things that aren't your fault. With Venus at a tense spot in Conjunction to tJupiter, you may be searching for an escape. You are probably being a philosophical pessimist ("all people are just born terrible. I absolutely despise humanity. Just look at how much destruction we've caused, all the lives we've taken, all the habitats we've destroyed," etc.). And in this swing, you may look back at all of the negative things you've done in your life, seeing yourself as a criminal who deserves punishment of some sort. With an activated Gemini/Sagittarius axis, you probably feel the need to voice your pains, struggles, and complaints with yourself, but you may find yourself too shy, too cautious, or too short of confidence to do so. Although, not as close to the Grand Cross, your Asc/Dec axis is also in cardinal signs. Pluto is on your Ascendant, so you're probably projecting a very strong image of yourself onto others. It's quite possible that people see you as dark and mysterious but also realize that you are scarred in some way because of the way you carry yourself, sulking in some way, probably with a drearily lost expression. I feel like the fatigue and/or contempt would reflect most in your eyes, somewhat tired and somewhat spiteful. With Jupiter on your Descendant, you're probably looking to other people to try and get you out of your slump. You don't know what to do, and you feel like someone else might (or like someone else might provide an escape, emotional at least if not physical). You might feel vulnerable, however, a position you don't like being in (Capricorn Ascendant), and because of this, may have a hard time actually finding someone you trust. This may cause you to be conflicted ("I want to tell him/her, but I don't know if I can trust him/her. It's like s/he can see right through me. I don't want to be in that position. I don't want anyone to know what I'm thinking. No one deserves to have to deal with my emotions. But maybe… maybe if I told them, I'd feel better. I REALLY want to tell them… but that might make me seem weak… UGH! What do I do!?!?").

This was more an intuitive reading than anything, btw. Let me know whether or not it resonates. Hope it helps.

Thanks so much for the extensive feed back. I've definitely felt extremely emotional lately and had some hard lessons

I don't feel spiteful but I've been told by a few people lately that I've been "intense"

Let me know what your question is KoC

Thanks again so much

Honestly, I'd rather you give me more detailed feedback on my reading. I might have a question in a week or so, but right now I want a gauge of how accurate my interpretation of transits are as well as those of interceptions. I'm just starting to get the hang of it as well as my intuitive abilities. So, I really want to know how I'm doing.

Thank you

Almost everything you said resonated greatly! The only part I can't identify with is seeing myself as a criminal

but amazing interpretation and I HIGHLY appreciate it.

The part that resonated the most was when you talked about my intercepted placements and I can't express how much I thank you for that bc no one has ever been able to explain that in a way that resonated with me

Thanks again KoC and whenever you have a question just shout me out on here!!

Criminal was probably too strong a word n_n;

Will do. Thanks for the feedback!

EDIT: Just saw your new thread, but didn't feel like responding on it because I want to see what other people have to say about it. Uranus and Pluto are both really slow, so it seems like it'll be early-mid 2016 before they move far enough away to stop affecting your Venus.

Hi moon ... I hope you've been well.
Hi KingOfCups, nice to meet you.
Don't mean to intrude here, hope you don't mind... but I was just reading and had a few thoughts...

Now please note that I don't interpret astrology in the traditional way, and I know that you, KingOfCups, are really good at astrology. I just use basics, really and intuition.

So I'm just going to add my 2 cents...

Because Uranus and Pluto are, as you said KingOfCups, slow moving, outer lying planets... as I always understood, those outer lying planets don't affect a person on a very 'personal' level... but more on a wider scope level. Pluto especially is like a generational planet, isn't it?

So even if they are adversely affecting one's natal planets, the person can still achieve in those areas. Or am I completely off?

Also, Uranus, as I've always understood creates upheavals. Upheavals are not always bad... like tilling soil to ready it for sowing?

If I may add... I've always believed that negative aspects can be great opportunites for growth... and growth doesn't always have to be hard or carry negative experiences with them. Sometimes they can be very interesting, even fun.

Also, a negative aspect can be like rain. Sure, if you're planning to go to the beach you'll have to wait a while... but rain also makes things grow and can be very soothing on a hot parched day.

Hope I'm making sense.

What do you guys think? Any and all feedback is welcomed and appreciated.

Hey CrimsonRed! This actually isn't our first encounter, but it's nice to meet you too.

You're not intruding at all. I actually really admire your readings, and any help from you is appreciated.

Btw, "I know that you, KingOfCups, are really good at astrology," made me REALLY happy. Thank you
I'm actually relatively new and still learning, so the positive feedback on this thread is really encouraging.

What you're saying is definitely true in a natal chart, but I feel like the transit would still be meaningful, especially because no one has lived to see Pluto in Opposition to their own. I'd say that when Pluto aspects a personal planet, it matters. However, this isn't to say that her life will be horrible and emotionally dreary for the next 2 years. It probably won't, because the effects of this transit will take place over a large span of time. However, there will be emotional challenges that she will have to work through (at least, that's what I think).

The planets can achieve, and they may in fact be meant to achieve. It is only when challenged that growth can be attained, and that's what this cycle will be about. Since it's a Pluto transit, it'll probably be some sort of revelation or total change on emotional perspective. Basically, her emotions and outlook on emotions will be completely transformed.

I usually see Uranus as something that causes sudden, unexpected events or even revolution of some sort. While this isn't always bad (I actually really like Uranus, because I'm Uranian), it usually is some sort of an unexpected challenge in the case of a challenging aspect, and a lot of weird things can happen.

I agree there. They are definitely opportunities for growth. They may be fun if you like the challenge and enjoy the transformation. But with the death and rebirth theme of Pluto, I feel like the intense challenge generally won't be received lightheartedly. It probably depends on the person though.

You're making perfect sense, and I agree with you in a lot of ways too. There is much growth involved with overcoming challenges, and this growth is a necessity. It may not be the most fun thing to undergo, however.

Hi again KingOfCups

Oh, I'm so sorry that I oversighted our previous encounter... please forgive me... been going through a lot and am a bit forgetfull these days.

Thank you for your compliment... that's very nice of you to say. Actually I've read some of what you've written also and have been impressed If you're new to it then I'm even more impressed... ... you seem to be doing a great job, and are very generous with your time.

Ah, I see what you're saying about transiting outer planets. Makes perfect sense. So then it's a growth period, simply put, right?

I agree with you, naturally one cannot grow unless challenged... experiencing revelations, creating changes. And you're right, it's a matter of emotional perspective... some people enjoy change more than others.

So that sounds like a good thing, moon (hope you're reading this.. certainly don't want to chat around you *smile*)... that means that then it'll be out with the old and in with the new. Since the old hasn't brought happiness, love and partnership into your life yet, then the changes that are and will be happening sounds like good news, because then better will be coming

I guess having my own natal Pluto near my Asc. in my 1st House made me learn to roll with the punches.

Btw... may I ask, KingOfCups... what sign are you?

Don't worry about it at all. It was on filleaspirant's thread. I was giving her a Synastry reading in exchange for cards and asked how one could ask for someone else's exact time of birth without being awkward. You suggested saying, I read in the NY Times that you can determine your peak-energy time based on your time of birth. (For others reading this, like moonstruck, this was NOT what I asked as my question for the cards. It was kind of a general thing for anyone to answer really.)

It's true. I'm actually very interested by what you write because of the way you use your intuitive skills. I'm starting to develop empathic abilities myself, but I'm really young, so they've started kicking in very recently. I tried to use intuition on this reading that I did for moonstruck alongside what I've learned about astrology instead of relying solely on the latter, and I like the results. It's nice to have both approaches.
Thank you I started learning about it in August.

Yep.

And it depends on the kind of change too. For example, a Taurus might enjoy growing financially, whereas a Sagittarian might enjoy growing philosophically. On the other hand, a Cancer would probably hate the transit that moonstruck is going through right now, since they like to be emotionally secure. (Now that I think about it, moonstruck, aren't you a Cancer? I wrote that last sentence and realized I had her/your chart available. And she/you is/are a Cancer. Tbh, I hadn't taken that into consideration when doing her/your reading and probably should have.)

It's quite possible. (And I agree with CrimsonRed in that I don't want to make it seem as though we're ignoring you, moonstruck.)

That might depend, tbh. I have Pluto on the IC. I'm sure I still have a lot left to experience, but I'm also sure that you have challenges that you'd rather not face.

AQUARIUS
If you wouldn't mind, could we exchange charts? I'm interested in seeing yours. Could you please include Ceres, Pallas, and Vesta as well as anything else you think important (assuming you'd be willing to post your chart)? I'll be sure to do the same.

Good morning

KingOfCups: I'm going to start a new thread for us so that we stop hijacking moon.

Hi again moon... hope you're not upset about us chatting on your thread. If you are, please forgive me/us.

BUMP

Would you mind if I asked two questions? If you can only do one, do the first one please.

1) Will I get a call for an interview?
2) How will I do on the exams that I have from May 3-May 14?

Thank you
