I've been noticing this for about a month. Those who don't bother calculating angles by hand, don't know how, or hate trigonometry may look at charts at face value and not notice that a planet is making a certain aspect because it doesn't display on the chart. I pulled a Horary for a relationship this morning 8:10am Newark, NJ today at 4/26 and pay attention to Mercury and Jupiter. I hate things that make me second guess my math. (And this was extremely trivial) Just wanted to share. I cross check with PlanetWatcher.com (separating aspects at the top, applying on the bottom. ) ------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, (2nd House), Venus (3nd House) Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ Rising Svātī Nakshatra IP: Logged |

That's an 8 degree sextile. That's pretty wide. And sextiles aren't considered *strong* aspects so astro omits them. IP: Logged |

Conjunctions have been omitted. I'm too lazy to post the chart. I certain instances, aspects are important. Strong or weak, the one --->I'm<--- looking for is being omitted. ------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, (2nd House), Venus (3nd House) Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ Rising Svātī Nakshatra IP: Logged |

There's a percentage you can adjust to include the ones you're looking for. IP: Logged |

Yes. You can change the orbfact, but an 8° sextile is within the default percentage. That's my point. ------------------ Leo ♌️ Sun, (2nd House), Venus (3nd House) Scorpio ♏ Moon,Mars,Saturn (5th House) Cancer ♋ Rising Svātī Nakshatra IP: Logged |

This happens often with asteroids actually. Even when the orb of a Trine is <30', it doesn't include it. But in this case, I think you just needed to up the orbfact percentage. 8 degrees is a really wide Sextile. If it had been the other way around (52 degrees away instead of 68), then it would have been closer to a Semi-Square than a Sextile.IP: Logged |
