Hm trying to figure out how to word this but i feel a little powerless and dont know what to do...i made a deal with my friends boyfriends dad to buy his car..while i did this going out on good faith(also i should have wrote up a contract or somehow got receitps its all cash) weekly i would give it to my friends boyfriend to give it to his dad..now im done paying and i have been getting the run around for 2 weeks(suposodly first it was in shop getting fixed now all of a sudden he cant find a car) ..i havnt talk to his father...can you give me a reading on the situation and if something happened what should i do?

So his dad is being a jerk...i actually got his phone number from a friend, do you think the best course of action is to call his father directly or wait it out?

No, you know the thing about it is...I'm not getting that vibe from him or the whole situation at all. It's more like they're all just a little flaky, scattered, never quite have all their ducks in a row. Did you keep records of your payments to him?

Speak with the dad and no one else; directly, calmly and reasonably. It feels very much like things are getting lost in translation here, so cut it down to just the two essential people involved. Hope this helps.
