The skinny:

He and I met thru work (separate companies.) Sparked. Things happened. He seemed to feel terribly guilty and said we couldn't date for at least a few months because it wasn't prudent to jump from one relationship to another. I see him regularly now and he goes from a "frat boy- i don't care attitude" to totally withdrawn (no smiling/no emotion.) I should mention that I am always fairly upbeat around him and don't bring up personal issues. We keep it to work topics.

here is what perplexes me...

Does he still have feelings for me? Will he get over his guilt? And, why won't he just date me already? What is going on with this guy?

he became restless and a little bored with his last r,ship but still seems to be tied to it and has trouble moving forward...is he still with her? I think maybe you need to find out what is causing the guilt, as this shows there is still a commmitment in his life...a union of sorts..hence the guilt maybe?
