For your first question about J's dad know that about you:

The fool - I think it was just something he said or mentioned not really thinking about it, or even know it. You know a coincidence.

How J feels about you?
Three of Pents - Building a friendship with you is what J feels like doing so no hard feeling or anything bad.

Should you quit talking to J?
Three of Swords - I don't think so, I think you both would really be sad about it miss being friends or building a friendship. J would be sad, this is something that is not too big of a deal. Just focus on your and J's friendship.
