The flu has taken my body hostage as of today, but I have this nagging question I wanna answered, yet I don't want to not give a reading in return. As I'm not sure reading under this state will produce a good read, I propose a postponed exchange: you read for me now and I'll read for you in a week (I am SURE I'm not going to be sick by next Monday). Without even reading the cards you can see a lot of emotion from this question. D is weighing it carefully and looking back over the past. There is great sadness that things have gotten to this point.

I hope this makes sense. It has been quite a while since I drew all cups. (I have drawn all swords, coins) but cups is great, great emotion and I have a very watery chart so I know this emotion.

With D as the mouse, he's nervous. He's lost some energy and his footing. With house, he stays "home" mentally and is protecting his thoughts. He's not giving you an inch of emotion here. He's metaphorically peeking through the blinds from a safe distance. He's not ready to come out yet. Trying to think of something cleaver to say. As a matter of fact, he may physically avoid you or situations where you have the chance to probe him for a response.

I'll take mine now: What will be the outcome of going back to KPMG to interview for the 2nd position?

Oh, he sure didn't expect me to say what I did! He might be wondering if I meant it or if it was a joke.

Base: 9 clubs
Spread: 6 diamonds, Queen spades, King diamonds (clarified by 3 clubs)

The base is saying this will be a successful career move and a new enterprise. Maybe you'll be doing something out of your comfort zone or that is different to what you're used to do? There won't be a big raise to what you're currently making. You'll still be working with technology and computers, which is what your career is about anyways. You'll be in control and self-possessed, but not overly happy with things. You won't be wearing yourself down though. You're going to meet someone that will allow you to grow professionally. He might end being an investor (this is intuitive, I'm afraid).

Overall, I think you'll get the job but won't be happy with the pay. Looks like you'll meet someone who can help you develop a business idea there, though.

Funny, I pulled cards myself for how he'd feel once he read the message and 2 of Cups was one of them. The message wasn't anything bad tbh. I was trying to be cute and compliment him at the same time.
