Just wondering what the best deck for relationship readings would be?I usually stick to Rider Waite and Doreen Virtues GODDESS messenger tarot cards. What do people here use for their tarot readings and do you find them accurate  Just asking because I would like to do relationship readings for people here IP: Logged |

I love my tarot decks, had been reading from the witches tarot for a time. But I find I always return to RWS, as it is my "tell-it-like-it-is" deck.
It can be abit matter of fact and blunt at times, doesn`t like to mince words.
Other decks can be more flowery. lol IP: Logged |

the ones i use apart from Rider are1) Hermetic: eerily accurate and totally gets to the bottom of things. they say it's not good for day-to-day readings, but for situations with a dynamic and tension, feelings etc. it is really good. allegedly based on the deck Crowley pinched Thoth from. You have to invite it in your heart though, might be too opaque otherwise. And it requires a fair bit of research into Golden Dawn 2) Deviant Moon on some occasions. I'd say this one is good for hidden motifs, the unconscious/subconscious, sometimes reveals the dark side too much, sometimes even makes you feel like you're going through someone's dirty linen, nothing remains unexposed. But I am aware that it's strictly advisable if one relates to the imagery. With me it's like i have periods of relating to this deck very much followed by periods of not understanding why i bought it in the first place. It contains photographs of real 19 century cemeteries and asylums blended with the artwork. I've also recently booked Dreaming Way because I dig South Korean visuality, but haven't tested it just yet. Seems hip and stylish, but it's a clone of Rider like many others out there. I'd say a lot of the time it's about choosing a Rider based deck you find appealing. Have no experience with decks based on what was originally playing cards like Marseille and Visconti. They are beautiful, but the pip cards lack a visual code, which is why I believe properly esoteric decks just might be a bit better for divination. This last bit is strictly IMO IP: Logged |

forgive me for being so rude and then asking this at On this thread.... when you said that reading for me about my career and you said a new job in five weeks could you see if it was here in Chicago or in St LouisI would have love to answer your question about the Tarot but I don't use tarot sorry .... thanks a lot I appreciate it!
