Again, I'm not asking for a reading at all. I thought about it, but no. I've just received some bad news. I'm honestly hurting bad from this. My general question to the Readers willing to answer: Have you ever done readings inquiring about why someone committed suicide? It's a VERY touchy inquiry, I apologize if it's in any way offensive. Just curious to know only that much….

Yes, I have. I did a reading like this for a family member when her husband took his life. I am very sorry to hear you have been upset about this...suicide is often shocking and devastating and creates a 'ripple effect' where even acquaintances and distant relatives will be affected. It is tough to get past and often raises many questions and deep emotions. Please take care and know you're not alone. IP: Logged |

Ok, thank you so much for responding. I've never known this kind of pain before. I've lost 2 friends in a 7 month span to suicide. The most baffling heartache I've ever had. Your truth and kind words mean a lot. Thank you.

You're welcome. It is heartbreaking to hear that you have lost several people to suicide in less than one year...If you need to talk or want help in any kind of way, you can find my e-mail address in the Brown Owl School thread. I have experience with these kinds of readings, and if you're emotionally up to it, I can try to provide assistance. xx IP: Logged |

I do not know if I can offer any words of comfort but I can offer some understanding in this matter. It was a particular field of study as a psychology major and my teacher was getting his second doctorate in this field. The thing that most people do not understand is that MOST suicides are carefully planned. They are not (as many people believe)a rash act of a despondent person. These folks have taken a long time to think about doing this and for whatever their reasons decide they cannot stay any longer. This is why the signs are usually there of ... them suddenly giving away very sentimental items. They are very sullen and a few days before become quite calm and resolute. My spiritual advisers in this life have taught me that most of them get 7 days where they are loved and treated and then sent back to earth to finish the life they exited too quickly AS WELL AS the life they will be born into. A double whammy if you will. This is for teaching purposes. I have a chart that shows I have committed suicide in many lives and this lifetime I put in a prevention so that even if I attempted it would not work. I cannot discuss this part in an open forum but for that and many reasons (losing friends and family to suicide), I have always been curious.I do not know if there are any words of comfort at this time. You have my prayers and know that your friend thought this was the only solution. IP: Logged |

Absolutely. No pressure at all, just an invite and an extension of empathy, if you ever need someone to talk to. IP: Logged |

Very interesting bit of information. I'm not on here as often these days, but yes I've now read your response. It's [hard to find the right way to explain it] overall the most perplexing and traumatizing pain. Coming from a very selfish standpoint where I feel as though I could've been THEE person to have the right "off switch" from contemplating the very act. My presence, my words. Of course MANY people affected by losing a loved one to suicide feels this way. This particular friend, shared his life and humor on social media on a consistent basis. Even but just 2 hrs before ending his life. There really were no "signs" with this one. Upstanding career, traveled a whole lot and via photos appeared to be really "living the good life"….
It's extremely puzzling. But you've given me something to really think about. Though I can't fathom ending my life, there is/has to be a basis of just being ready to check out on your own terms. Wow… IP: Logged |
