Is it because of my Pisces ascendant?

Is it because of my Saturn in fall in the first house retrograde opposing my moon and Venus?

I'm so sick of my life.

I'm so sick of everything.

Is there any hope? I'm not old enough to know if I'm rich or not. I don't even have a job yet. I'm almost 17. I have social anxiety.

If there's going to be no happiness or money or stuff like that in my life at all then idk if there's any point in living.

Not speaking astrologically, but, why are you worried about lacking money so much? Can you not study medecine or engineering or something that might get you enough money to live? You said you are 17, you should be out of high school in one year, so in not too long, right?

I cannot understand why do people insist on the idea that if you feel terrible, it's only because you think so. Do you really believe that if she stops thinking she is pathetic, all the reasons she thinks that in the first place will magically go away?
More often than not, I have seen that way of thinking creating people who are delusional and full of themselves because they were conditioned to believe that if they never think bad of themselves, they have no reason to worry about what they may do or what may be happening to them.

The human mind is not rational like that, you know. It's not as simple as "thinking this causes that, so to stop that you must stop thinking this".

Sorry for ranting, but I heard this same sentence being told to me so many times before I have to complain every time.

I don't think it's a deluded way to approach life. I personally think it's empowering. Just thinking positive thoughts isn't going to change things in your life right away, of course. It might not even dramatically make the world a better place. But, it changes what YOU think about you. How can that not influence your feelings and behavior?

If you focus on your negative attributes, then you're obviously going to be more and more depressed. Then, that becomes this obsessive loop that you can't get out of, making you feel worse and making your life seem worse. If you focus on your positive attributes, then you're going to feel more confident and healthy and happy. That gives you more drive, will, and self-assurance to improve your life and yourself. In that manner, I do think that it is that simple.

The difficult thing is whether or not you want to take that responsibility. Some people would much rather just throw their hands in the air and passively let life happen to them. To some people, feeling like crap is sort of like a comfort food. It's a habit that difficult to break. Just like any habit, it's easy to spin this web of excuses and false ideas around it to justify it rather than trying to change it. Because they've become so used to living that way that they don't want to let it go.

By the way, I'm not attacking you at all, TuxLuigi. I don't want to come off as self-righteous. And I totally know what it's like to be depressed and to feel frustrated with life. I've been there, very recently actually. But, I also know what it's like to pull yourself out of it. I'm all about healing myself and I just like showing others that there are ways for them to heal themselves, as well, instead of being so immersed in their pain that they see no way out.

And MiaPluto, there is SO much life ahead of you. You're still only 17. Your life has barely just begun, at this point. Just try and look forward to the future. Make some plans about what you could achieve and make that your focus. Having goals, especially at that age, is something that helps keep you afloat.

trust me girlie, you have so much more life ahead of you.

forget about what ever it is you think is so horrible at the moment. Do something for yourself. Stop what ever it is you are doing to make yourself feel worst. Let it all go.

Take one step to do something for yourself, just yourself. And do that.

Your saturn in the first sesquisquares your mercury and pluto forming a Thor's Hammer.

That has to be tough. .........Life is tough. None of us get everything we want but you just keep going and try your best to focus on the positive. You should seek help. Antidepressants often make a difference specially in combo with therapy.

Thor’s Hammer

Thor’s Hammer is an aspect pattern consisting of a square (90 degrees) and two sesiquadrate (135 degrees) interconnecting aspects.

It is part of the dynamic series of aspects that are based on the 8th harmonic (45 degree) aspect series.

This is a particularly difficult pattern as the sesiquadrate aspect tends to give quite severe criticism from others and this produces considerable personal tension. To work at its best it needs at least one planet in the pattern to have an outlet i.e. an easy flow aspect to another planet or planetary pattern. The outlet planet can describe people who help and/or a talent or ability that eases the pressure.

I think any aspect pattern that involves an angle is much stronger than those that just involve planets as the angles make them very personal indeed.

To top it off your mercury which is one of the leg's of the thor's hammer inconjuncts your uranus.

Do you feel people criticize a lot your way of thinking, at school and at work and just in general your ideas and how your mind operates?

Pluto in the 9th sextile Uranus and Neptune in the 11th are your outlets.

So good friends who are eccentric with a spiritual side and studying towards achieving your hopes and dreams should be your focus.

Higher learning that leads to social change. Activism. Travelling with friends or joining the peace corps is something that involves travel, expanding your horizons and social change.

You're not pathetic. You are a wonderful, amazing person. I am not an expert in chart interpretation, but with a Pisces Asc and Venus in 7th house, you are very sweet and loving.
Don't worry too much about your job and money, I'm sure everything will be alright. And you have only experienced a little bit of life. There's so much more that could make you happy ! ((:
Don't let little things like that make you feel sad. Remember, smile !

Thing is, our reality is very subjective - so Mia's reasons for being pathetic are not a reality - it's just how she views those things.

From what I understood one of the reasons she thinks she's pathetic because she's 17 and doesn't have a job - to me, that's not pathetic at all. I got my first job at 17, my friends got their first job at 20, 21 and some at 16...

We have a tendency to judge ourselves in comparison to others but in fact, even if there are many teens who do have a job currently that doesn't in anyway make Mia pathetic.

So yeah, if Mia will look at the situation from a different perspective (I, for example, think it's great that at age 17 she is conscious enough to want to earn her own money and I think that's awesome) she doesn't need to feel pathetic.

Seventeen can be a ****** age, love. It gets better. But then you might think you got it all figured out, and then bam! But you learn lessons, you become wiser, and more evolved and beautiful every day. And you experience the richness of life. Money means nothing and it won't buy you happiness. Happiness comes from within and the first step to finding it, is gratitude.

<3 hang in there!
ps. we're from the same city woohoo!
