OK for my reading, I think you interpreted that cards very nicely and in fact I'm planning on visiting my bank this week to take care of some financial related things.

For you interpretation, what might be throwing you off is that YES/NO questions can be read by looking at the suit/color of the cards and not what the cards say. Given that you have 2 reds card/3 and the third is your significator, I would say the answer is yes. You can also interpret your cards and have the 5 of hearts meaning indecisivesness...so perhaps in the beginning you will not be sure about this relationship.

I guess I went into this thinking I was going to have to memorize everything like I did with Tarot, and Cartomancy is much more particular about combinations. Do you know any books or good sites I can use that give meanings for combinations?

Yup, started off OK got better. Yes, felt some jealousy on Friday. Felt more at peace but it wasn't due to cutting people out. Overall pretty good interpretation.

Sort of, it was actually him that had made me wait for the relationship and now wants one. The 8 of diamonds explanation according to the one link I gave can be:
New job; change in job situation. The young or the old may find love on a trip. Country life, travel and marriage late in life. The querent’s life is too hectic at the moment..a need to settle down and get away..but being unable to do so at the present time.
In this case, the finding love on a trip fits, since this is how we met.

4 of Spades and 4 of Hearts seem sort of opposite, financially. One is financial loss and the other is an upswing so I would guess work is kind of a roller coaster from that. The 9 of Clubs indicate you may have some problems with co-workers that will come out (maybe tomorrow) that have been festering awhile. But the 10 of Hearts means alls well that ends well and the problems should be resolved or finished with - nothing long and dragged out at least.

2. 8 of Hearts 3 of Hearts 7 of Clubs

They are protective over you but feel you're not as committed to the friendship as they are? OR they are planning a surprise birthday / party for you.

3. Jack of Diamonds 9 of Spades 4 of Diamonds 5 of Diamonds

You have plans to carry out at work but there's a wrench thrown in them tomorrow. After some bad luck at work it seems like it will get better and you'll finally get pulled out of the rut you've been in. Maybe you were experiencing some kind of obstacle and block, but tomorrow that will be dealt with and removed.

Yes, they are protective over me. They feel like I don't listen to their advice at times, so perhaps that's what you were picking up on.

Sort of makes sense, I know there's going to be a meeting which will delay all of my 'plans' for tomorrow.

Oh I am loving these card readings lately. I do keep hope N will come back somehow but it's over and has been. I guess asking and hoping is just my way of healing. Yes, I could see him being impulsive and stubborn. Thanks SJ!
