Is the freedom I am trying to seek and think about will be worth it? Should I free myself?

Ask your question. x

Hi Mia,

Sure I will do a reading for you but could you clarify a bit? Would this be about leaving a romantic relationship, job, casual relationship? I don't have any questions at this time but thanks for he offer. Poochy

Thanks poochy. I don't think I should say what kind of freedom because many people look at it negatively.

I meant freedom from the world.

Please don't think it's a bad thing. x

Hi Mia,

The first card I pulled for you was the nine of swords which would show some depression going on. Nothing serious but does it come and go with you? The three of wands is showing trying different alternatives health wise to help yourself. I'm going out on a limb here and thinking you are young...in your teens or perhaps early twenties? The queen of wands is showing someone who is very feminine and quite fertile. Ha ha so I'm thinking this could be hormone related. Hormones can make you quite emotional and depression plays a part sometime.

O.k. three of wands which I pulled shows trying different alternatives. This should help you. Let me know. Poochy

Thanks for the reading it resonates.

I'm 17. And I have depression since 5 years. During this time I went through some bad things and I also got into stuff like astrology/psychology/philosophy a lot.

I'm not really happy here on earth. I take astrology and escaping from reality as an alternative because even when I try to do 'fun' real things and believe and tell myself it's supposed to be fun it never is. Nothing got better since then. And I have no hopes. And the reason I think this way is only because I am sane.

Thank you for reading. xx

Dear Mia,
(What a beautiful name you have!) I have joined these message boards a few weeks ago and even though I don't know many people on here, you have struck me as unusual and very unique. You are a very sensitive soul and with this sensitivity comes a wisdom beyond your years. You feel things that other people may overlook or not feel and it sometimes can feel heavy and bring you in a negative headspace, but don`t let that bring you down! Remind yourself of all the great and unique qualities you have! There is no one else out there like you! It's not easy to remember those qualities or things that bring us peace and happiness in our lives when we feel down. I like to create a little happiness board where I cut images of things, people, places, events or even words that make me happy and make a collage of it. I like to hang it in a place that I constantly look at, and be reminded of all the great things in my life. I am sure you have lots of blessings in your life, and even though life is an adventure, there are times when things are not so great. But it is important to focus on the positives and remember that the bad times are only temporary. Good things will happen soon for you; I am quite intuitive and I feel that it gets better.

But you have your part of work to do in this; you have to overcome your insecurities and sometimes you'll even have to fake it (until you make it and actually feel super better! This means sometimes you'll have to take risks you don't want to in the first place, like try new activities to make new friends, etc). Get out there, make new friends in your classes, maybe join a club at school! Meet with an academic advisor so they help you write a nice CV; look around for interesting places where you could work part time, maybe a book store or a place that you really like? Make sure you keep busy doing things that bring you happiness, and you won't even realize how quick things will fall into place! And never ever compare yourself to others; remember that maybe they are at step 10 of their personal growth process. Maybe this person has been working real hard for years on overcoming insecurities and battling different situations, and you are just beginning and are at step 1, so never compare. And feel good about your achievements; you have a right to be proud. You are so young and have so many wonderful years ahead of you!

In many ways you remind me of myself at 17. I am just 8 years older, but trust me I`ve been through a lot of different experiences and I can understand how you feel. Some brought me extreme sadness and made me think I could never be happy again; some brought me amazing happiness and discovery and made me feel incredibly happy, like I never imagined before; and some made me feel so strange, like something was not okay. Feelings and emotions are very important; they help you and guide you in what you should do. But it is important that you understand that you should listen to your emotions but not let them control your actions; for example if you don`t feel happy because you feel lonely and have little friends, the feeling of unhappiness highlights which areas of your life you should focus on changing. And sometimes things don`t go so well in many areas, but it's just an opportunity to grow, learn and try new things. Think of it like that; let's say you have a kitten and one day your kitten gets sick. Do you just decide to put your kitten to sleep so he's no longer sick and let the sickness control him? No, you take him to a vet and have him checked out, and try different things to figure out what made him sick. Then he gets better and everything is alright once again Life is the same; negative feelings are symptoms and it just means you have some changes to do. Often we can't control our circumstances but there is one thing you can always always always control; your attitude. If you keep a positive attitude and try to see the positives in your life and be grateful for what you have, you will start noticing the good things in life a lot more and will feel happier. If you have a negative attitude though, you will feel worse and notice just the bad things. It takes a lot of practice and work to focus on the positives, but it is worth it and makes an incredible differences. Give it a try, you will have nothing to lose!

Treat yourself like that kitten who is sick; get help if you need it, talk about how you feel to adults you trust. If you don't have anyone you trust I can give you my email adress and I can help you find someone who is better qualified than me (since we live in the same city and I know adults who work in helping youth) and can give you the tools to feel better!

Hang in there!!! I am sending you lots of love and positive vibes xxx

Thank you so much melodie it made me feel better. It was just a temporary feeling because I had a depressing/bad day.

I will try to follow these steps and climb the ladder of positivity.
