Hi T,Could I please ask for your thoughts on a confusing matter? It is about a long distance relationship (we couldn't meet often) with J, that I have been trying to end without causing undue hurt. I have been told that unless this ends another (my reward relationship) cannot come into my life. I have also been told that J will be visiting me soon. I care for J - we are long-time Karmic partners, and would like to stay in contact. That may however, not be the best thing to do if an ending is needed. And I wonder if he will be hurt. Can you see through this fog? Why should he want to visit me now? And if he does, what is the likely outcome?

A visit now seems like the very best thing. You need to gather your thoughts and find a nice way to end this. It needs to be clean and clear. We are set the boundary, we can.... set the boundary and we will no longer set the boundary. The problem with karmic ties is we get to swept up in but what if. He may want to talk about becoming more serious but I see this visit as your opportunity. It may sting for a bit, there may be a few unnecessary word but I think you will be well advised to welcome him to visit to do this thing in person. I used to tell it this way, you cannot ask Spirit for another car when you have a nice car in the garage. So.... the same can be said for having a lover or significant other.... until you have cleared yourself of them Spirit can't help you find something you already have.? T IP: Logged |

Thank you very much T.Yes, I agree with what you're saying. This visit can be the marker. I think I am totally incapable of saying no, fact to face, so it is going to be hard. I would try and handle it before Mercury goes retrograde. Things under a retrograde seem to take place twice. I have the same hard time. Which is why I suggested it. What works best for me (I have mercury in Libra and hate confrontation) is that I write down all my talking points. I try and assume every counter to my argument. Then I try to answer each and every one. I have even had friends play the role of the other person. When they do it sincerely, it prepares me. In fact, a couple of times I cried when the friend did it and was fine when the actual time came. For me its boundaries and saying no is a boundary. One that women are taught not to say. We want to be loved and respected and we feel that yes is the only way towards that. IT IS NOT. Remember you owe a duty to be true to yourself FIRST and then you can be anything to anyone next.Mercury goes retrograde Oct 4. I, too, am a Scorpio sun... my moon is in Cancer. I think I would have an easier go of it if it were in Aquarius. But then ... when you are neck deep, everything else looks easier.T IP: Logged |
