I have this itchy rash on my neck and behind my ears and it just looks so HORRIBLE. Luckily, my hair covers it, but still, its pretty bad.My question is, is it Nutella? I tried it for the first time Saturday and I really don't remember when the rash first appeared, but Ive been eating Nutella since then... I've never had any major allergies so this is pretty bad for me IP: Logged |

Don't eat Nutella. Are you allergic of nuts? Because Nutella has hazlenut in it.Go to the doctor. I went to the doctor today for my coughing and fever. And if you have calamine lotion, use that to put on your rashes it might help. xx ------------------ Mia x IP: Logged |

It's strange because I'm not allergy to nuts at all..Maybe it's soy? I'm not sure. And unfortunately, I'm a college student and my college's health center doesn't give alleegy shots. I have been using regular lotion so far and hot water towlette.
Thank you for the advice!!

Java- try logging in everything you eat on myfitnesspal, and writing a few things after each day about how you feel health-wise. I found this to be helpful as I tend to not be able to lose weight when eating cheese, and my face breaks out when I have too much red meat. Give it a shot. IP: Logged |

Try using tea tree oil on your rash. You can get it from Walgreens or pretty much any drug store and it's pretty cheap, just make sure it's the kind that says it's pure or 100%...I had a skin problem recently too and took care of it with that instead of paying for the much more expensive prescription lol IP: Logged |

The only way to know for sure is to remove the Nutella from your diet WITHOUT putting creams or ointments on the rash. If it clears up, that is a strong indication you are allergic to something in it. But if you put something on your rash AND remove the food, you won't know which treatment worked. You could also rub a small amount directly on your arm (palm side facing up) right below the crook of your elbow to see if it rashes up. Keep some antihistamines handy just in case. ------------------ “Most people would rather be sheep than stand on their own with antlers on.” IP: Logged |

Very good idea!!! I'll stop applying lotion to the rash to determine if it's really the Nutella..

Hmm..I don't think it's hair products because I've been using the same ones for years. IP: Logged |
