Abundant Visions does a lot of candle work. I never had her do any for me though. But she told me for communication to use yellow candles and white to erase negativity. I tried the yellow candles. She said write down specifically who I wanted to communicate with me on a piece of paper and place it under the candle. When I went to light the candle to say what my intention was and light the candle. I don know if it really worked or not. At the time I did try it I did hear from A maybe about a week after. Might have just been dumb luck though. I think since it's not like a spell but more like positive vibes there's no harm in it. IP: Logged |

I remeber my grandmother used to buy candles from this little Mexican market on the corner of her house. Yo block negativity, bring in money, etc. I received AV's newsletter and it was talking about candle work. Made me think about it. There's a part of me that thinks, "folks are going to do what they want regardless." Lol IP: Logged |

I used to teach candle magic so I am all for it. I only use it as a visual aid to get our best wishes and intentions out there in the universe. Most of my students wanted me to teach them about money (green candle or brown depending) Love (pink) or Sex (red). There are pros and cons to using anything. The pros are that it is a true visual aid and when combined with your pure intentions, you can gain results. Cons- many people think they know their true intent and really they do not. I had a client that really wanted this particular boyfriend. I advised against it in case he had other ideas. She used a red candle because she could not find a pink candle. She had a huge argument with the guy and it ended with the police being called. when she came to class that week, she told the whole class what a fraud I was. Luckily, they were there when I strongly urged her not to do any for a particular person and so she left and did not finish attending. Wanting no negative karma from this, I had the shop refund her moneys. So, intent (be it using candles, words, both) has to be pure. And if you are wishing to bend someone's will... it can really backfire.Just sayin!

That makes sense. So for example, using a pink candle to set an intention for love (in general) to enter your life not a specific person's love. IP: Logged |

I've seen these types of candles in a particular store once. I would be slightly afraid to use them. My intentions would be pure if I were to use them, but I would be afraid something bad might happen afterwards, lol. It probably has something to do under the lines of "fear of the unknown" since I've never used one before.IP: Logged |

Exactly! I'd rather AV do it for me, than me doing it myself. Because I wouldn't know exactly what I'm doing and I could, like you said, backfire something, lol. I'm actually looking at her candle work now. The prices aren't bad for her to do it. I'm pretty sure this website is much cheaper than her on Keen, lol. That is if she does candle work on there, I'm not sure. But here is her on the other website:

You know.... As far as money, positive energy, etc I see the value in candle work possibly. But for me, matters of the heart not so much. For example, if things happen as I want with the guy I've been getting readers about, I kinda want it to be because they just did. Call it fate, God's will, him getting some good sense in his head... Whatever. Lol. But I kinda want him to give me what I want organically and on his own. I know I have some nerve talking after all the readings I've had. Lmao. And maybe I just really don't understand how candle work, works. IP: Logged |

I understand. For me, I'd be afraid to use it dealing with the guy in question for me. For example, I wish our communication was better and he could open up to me more. If I used candle work for that, I'd be afraid somewhere down the line it would backfire on me. That's just my thoughts on it. I could be wrong because I'm not knowledgeable when it comes to this sort of thing. Haha, you and me both have some nerve. I guess it's because we want some sort of progress/clarity and things to get better in our situation and that's why we do the things we do, in regards to the readings I mean. IP: Logged |

And having a healthy fear is a good thing. I have used many candles for a variety of things and had good luck with them. I see it as letting my intentions be known. No will bending, no make this person, .... or anything that involves changing a mind or heart (with the exception of asking the person let go of hate... and that works)... Anything at all, we do we should do because we feel good about it. If you have a suspicion it is not for you... for any reason, I'd say that is an inner voice you need to heed. That is more important than anything ANYONE can tell you. That comes from a direct link to your inner soul and it will not steer you wrong.T IP: Logged |

Exactly. I also get readings due to my lack of patience. But not necessarily to MAKE anyone do anything. Of course, there are certain outcomes that I WANT. However, the readings are so that I can get clarity on a situation and have an understanding for the possible outcome. IP: Logged |

Yea… Because my candle work would be something along the lines of bring me money and bring me my man! A specific man. Lol. And that is no bueno.
